Calidwell Homes

Calidwell Homes recently completed our kitchen extension. They are affordable, professional, friendly, approachable, trustworthy and a reliable construction company. The team were incredibly helpful, respectful, responsive, honest, and trustworthy and they showed outstanding professionalism from start to finish. Throughout the project, it was evident that they take a great delight in producing high-quality work, and their construction knowledge and skills were on display and clear. Their work is very neat, they cleaned up at the end of each day. They completed the work on schedule and kept us updated at every stage of the project. Steve was an outstanding leader throughout the project. He re-designed our kitchen, kept everything on track, and was always available to answer all our questions. I would like to thank Clive (site manager) for his meticulous attention to detail and for ensuring that the project was on track according to schedule. His skills and talents are highly appreciated. Steve and his team from Calidwell Homes delivered our kitchen extension on time with no hidden or additional charges. I am forever grateful for Steve and his team for transforming our house and for the exceptional service they provided throughout the project. I would highly recommend Calidwell Homes to anyone looking for a reputable, affordable, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, skilled, quality building services and a reliable construction company. Calidwell Homes, you are the best! Thank you!

Steve, Rob and all the team did a fantastic job in creating our dream home which we absolutely love. It was a significant project being a Ground & 1st Floor extension, loft conversion and a complete refurbishment of the rest of the house which took c10months. Throughout the project the team worked really well with other suppliers (kitchen, bathroom, lighting etc.) were flexible in accommodating changes to ensure that the finish was exactly what we were after. Steve also helped us at the outset with the design as well as during the build - his input was invaluable (we ended up with a much better first floor layout due to Steve’s suggestions than had originally been designed by our architect). The quality of the work and professionalism of the team was excellent and we would be happy to recommend them to anyone considering a renovation project.

Steve and his team have finished a large renovation project with us and we are very pleased with the end result. The journey to get here took a lot of planning, which Steve worked patiently with us providing valuable advice when needed. Throughout the build the whole team were easy to work with. Living on site with up to 10 builders here daily is not the easiest scenario but we all worked together as a team and it genuinely worked. The team provided useful and practical advice throughout, particularly when we wanted some changes to the original plans. It wasn't the most straightforward of jobs but we are very happy with the quality of workmanship and finish. We would happily recommend Steve and his team to others and use again ourselves.

This was our first building project and it was a big build!. From start to finish Steve and his fantastic team made the whole process as easy and stress free as possible. They were flexible when changes needed to be made they were always on hand to offer advice and help us with decisions and their work is absolutely outstanding. They were more than accommodating to the outside kitchen company and tech people that came in during the build. The whole team were super friendly, polite and respectful and a joy to work with. Highly recommend them, we couldn’t be happier with the work they have done.

We hired Ross Taylor Homes for our two-bed loft conversion and it couldn’t have been better. They are reliable, approachable, professional, great fun and superb quality. Can’t thank them enough. The one thing I got wrong was that, as a developer myself, I wanted to do the finishing works myself after RTH had done all the main structural work. This was a mistake. Whilst I finished a great space to a very high standard, the time it took me meant I didn’t end up with much in the way of the cost savings I’d planned. With hindsight, I should have had RTH undertake the entire project and manage it throughout. Will definitely use them on build projects again. Book them with confidence.

Very professional and highly skilled tradesmen. They fitted the kitchen units and flooring together with skirtings and worktops. Job completed November 2018.

Beautifully fitted kitchen supplied by Howdens. Top craftsmanship which is highly recommend. I'm a bit OCD and the team had no problem moving some of the kitchen units around without hesitation. Beautiful result and very happy with the outcome. Thank you Ross Taylor Homes.

I was recommended Ross Taylor Homes for a small kitchen install job. They fitted me in quickly, were very efficient- the team sent to me were experts in this type of install and I found them reasonably priced. Over all I would use them again and am happy to recommend.

Ross Taylor Homes completed our hallway renovation (including front door replacement and all interior doors) to an amazingly high standard, we are so happy with the result. RTH are all so helpful, friendly and respectful of your home, we would highly recommend them.

This is the first time that I have used this company, but would recommend them without hesitation. I had my kitchen replaced and living In a first floor apartment brought a number of logistical challenges. But I have to say that the workmanship was outstanding and the disruption of removing the old kitchen and taking deleivery of the new kitchen was kept to a minimum. All the people that worked on this project ensured that our home and all landings and stairwells where clean at the end of each day, the service level was excellent. Extremely happy with our new kitchen

Thank you for the excellent work done!! Your staff members were friendly, efficient and very professional. The project was problem free, quickly accomplished, and the site left clean of all waste materials. Your company is highly recommended.

RTH built our home! Complete renovation + loft conversion + rear extension. Good craftsmanship and a great team! They listen but also have brilliant ideas when needed. Everything was in line with budget and when the project was completed they remained engaged when needed.
