“Mark was great we wanted an orangey build and asked mark for advice, he came out on a Saturday because we both worked through the week. Mark gave us some great ideas and showed us photos of previous ideas, he drew up our plans and after agreeing with them sent them off to planning, also sorted out a surveyor and buildings inspector. We would recommend Mark 100% He gave us some good advice on choosing a builder, appreciated because it’s not easy to choose. Thank you Mark. Dave & Lesley”

“Looking to get an extension to my bungalow. I contacted a few initially for comparison. I actually found Chris from the Houzz website. Chris responded quickly, and unlike some other architects, Chris was happy to work in stages and bring in service only when necessary (site survey in particular, and it was not necessary at the end as Chris has enough experience to work on this). As you can imagine, this helps to avoid cost. During the various phases, Chris was very responsive and very patient with all my questions. We have a few, what I would say un-reasonable responses from the council during the planning application. Chris explained the details to me and dealt with them efficiently. The planning was approved and Chris put together the build drawing and able to recommended a couple of very good builders. Unfortunately during the course of approx. 9 months (council mainly, then busy time for the builders, and holidays over the first summer after lock down), the materials price has gone up significantly so I have to park the project for now. It is difficult to capture all the detail but in summary, Chris is experience, responsive, patient to explain the detail and happy to work within my constraint. I would 100% recommend Appropriate Design solution to my friends.”
