“Gemma designed and organised the refurbishment of our dream cottage in north Dorset. The results are stunning. From the creation of the initial concept and mood boards Gemma has delivered a scheme which is so in tune with what we were looking for. Gemma is creative and responsive and always provides plenty of stylish options throughout the process whether it’s furniture, lighting, flooring, window treatment etc. We wanted a mixture of ‘old and new’ so she sourced some wonderful antiques for the scheme. She provided perfect fabric options and curtain/blind designs throughout and also liaised with the various contractors on our behalf. Little touches like creating a counter with bar stools from an existing worktop, installing a bespoke rush headboard in the main bedroom and even changing the outside lights so they are more in keeping have made a real impact too. To complete the project Gemma sourced some artwork on our behalf keeping us in the loop throughout. The resulting works installed are superb and range from Portland stone reliefs, a scene created from vintage fabrics, to a modem local landscape in oil and a wonderful abstract acrylic. In addition she has found etchings and prints which work so well . The beautiful, calm, artistic interior created is somewhere you don’t want to leave and it was a pleasure working with Gemma to create it.”
