“Ariel has such a light hand and does everything with such ease! My partner and I were overwhelmed with trying to quickly furnish our new home and starting with almost nothing. I tend to overthink every decision, so I really needed help bringing together a cohesive design and be confident in our decision making. This was also at the time that everything was out of stock, and Ariel was able to source items that were almost all entirely in stock. Ariel really listened to the exact requirements we had for our unique space and made sure that each piece would fit just right, with an emphasis on quality and longevity. More importantly, she helped us be brave when it came to bold design decisions. A dark and moody dining space is not something we would have ever thought of on our own, let alone been confident enough to execute. It ended up being the most stylish corner in our home, has such a Chicago vibe, and continues to be the source of inspiration for or other design decisions. Ariel really helped us quickly get from zero (literally only a mattress on the floor) to fully furnished in a matter of a couple of months. We are still putting together finishing touches and decorative elements, and Ariel's online design resources are really helpful for that as well.”

“Very generous designer who made my tiny rental feel spacious and bright! So grateful for Jenn’s excellent list of recommendations she offered me within 24 hours after seeing my home. She helped me realize that my space doesn’t have to be or feel small by changing a few simple things such as, painting the interior, raising all the curtain rods to make my ceiling feel higher, layer cowhides on the cold tiled floor, moved my paintings around that made more sense to view, helped me find beautiful decorative pillows, dining table and chairs, and the most comfy modern chair and ottoman we all fight over to sit in and most importantly she suggested many choices to choose from to change out all the old dated light fixtures. I learned that investing in great curtains, sconces to lamp shades would be worth the investment since I can take them with me if and when I ever move. My home now feels spacious, fun and festive to visit and a whole lot bigger and brighter because I used every single one of Jenn’s innovative ideas. Loved her smart suggestions and felt she respected my small budget and made it work besides making my cozy place a place all my friends and family love to visit. “As general contractor I've had many experiences working with designers over the years and working with Lauren has always been a pleasure. I specialize in residential projects almost exclusively and all of my projects require attention to the details. Lauren has shown me that she has an incredible talent to think of the details and plan for them from the very beginning. She's been able to take my projects from the initial concept/layout phase through completion seamlessly and I've never had to stop a project and wait for her to make a descision before moving on. “My husband and I worked with Rachel at Seldin Design Studios to decorate our first house. It felt like a pretty overwhelming task as we were starting from scratch and had a lot to do on a tight budget within a short time frame (we were expecting our first little one just 5 months after we moved in!). Rachel made the whole process so much easier and less stressful. She started by walking through the house with us and listening to what we hoped to create in each space. She then presented us with a meticulous portfolio with descriptions, drawings, and examples of everything we needed for each room and a breakdown of the cost. My husband and I have pretty different styles and Rachel did a wonderful job of listening to what was important to each of us. She managed to find pieces that we both like at the right price points, striking a nearly impossible balance of cozy and clean. She also introduced fresh colors and patterns, encouraging us to branch out and try new things. She was fast and efficient and did an amazing job of staying within our budget (unheard of in interior design, apparently!). She was incredibly organized and proactive, always following up with vendors and giving us a heads up if there was a delay or other issue with a product we had ordered. We were very indecisive at times and she worked tirelessly and patiently with us the whole way through. Rachel is clearly passionate about her work and always went above and beyond. We are so very grateful to her for helping us create a lovely home.”

“Eugenia is the best in her field. She is professional and has excellent taste. She listens to her clients and can help zero in on decorating needs without breaking the bank. She can direct you to what you SHOULD spend good money on vs what you don't have to spend money on - I appreciate that! She has excellent skills at color. She can really pull a room together and make a design that everyone comments on when they walk in the room. You will feel right at home with Eugenia's style, vivacious personality and artistic skill. She makes decorating fun!”

“Regan Baker is really great to work with. She not only had a ton of great and creative ideas, but she also took the time to get to know me and my family to truly understand our needs and wishes. For every project we worked on together, she presented me with 3-4 options and continued to iterate until I was 100% satisfied. She always took the time to answer all of my questions, brainstorm additional ideas, and simply to check in. Regan is extremely professional, always on time, and very flexible. Additionally, Regan worked very well with other professionals working on our home. She got along with everyone and really helped me manage some complex aspects of our project. Our new dining/kitchen/family room looks beautiful and unique and is very functional due to the work we did together. ”
