“We were at a complete block with painting and styling our home and the best choice we have made was working with Alix at Amberley Studio.
A thoroughly enjoyable experience from the start. She really listened to us talk about how we use our space and what we were struggling with. Her attention to detail is superb, suggesting some tweaks to existing furniture that didn’t cost anything but have made a huge difference to our day-to-day life that we had never thought of ourselves.
She was mindful and considerate of our budget constraints and also made sure suggestions were practical for our dog which was appreciated. She has an incredible eye for colour and we were blown away by the mood board and samples we received.
My husband had concerns an interior designer might suggest things that weren’t necessarily to our taste but Alix spent time getting to know us both and what we like. One of Alix’s suggestions was to tile a small amount of our kitchen and she found the most BEAUTIFUL tiles (which we both love!) to do that with.
From lighting, to paint, to furniture, to small considered details, we are slowly incorporating every single one of Alix’s suggestions into our home. If we ever move, we may need to call her straight away... She is a genius!”
