“I hired Faye to help design my ensuite and walk in wardrobe extension. From initial ideas and designs, to the build and installation all the way to finishing touches, she was there to guide me through it all. “Our family bathroom was the worst room in the house and the last to get around to because we couldn’t work out exactly what to do with it. It had been used as a wet room and was essentially one big shower with a tiny half sized bath and we knew we wanted a full size bath but that was about it. We asked Martyn to help and he came up with brilliant ideas that completely transformed the space. He he proposed building a half wall to form part of the shower enclosure, this made for a beautiful shower and great separate space for the basin and pedestal which he built out of a combination of a small reclaimed sideboard and square basin, with taps coming straight out of the wall. We had in mind that we would tile the walls but he suggested making faux wood panelling. This was way cheaper than tiling and looks amazing with the colour scheme he chose. Martyn has an amazing eye for design, he genuinely listens to what he clients wants and comes up with unique, clever and inspiring solutions. I recommend him unreservedly.”

“2013 saw the tenth anniversary of the opening of my coffee shop, The Brown Bag in Wokingham. I decided to mark it by redesigning the interior, and engaged Emily’s services. Emily helped me to create a design that was welcoming to customers, as well as providing my coffee shop with its own identity and therefore strengthening my brand. She also understood the importance of working within my budget, and sourced some great, well priced furnishings and accessories. The redesign has been a huge success with my customers. In the month following the refit my revenue increased by 21%, and this increase in trade continued in the months after. I was surprised at how such a limited budget, carefully applied to achieve the right refit, could have such a significantly positive effect on trade. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Emily on this project. She had some pragmatic and affordable ideas, understood my requirements and the fee for her design services was very reasonable.”

“Emma visited us in our new home the week following completion and we spent time in every room attempting to describe the look and feel we were seeking. We set her the seemingly impossible challenge of coming up with design schemes for every room in just two weeks. The mood boards Emma created in such a short space of time are testament to her brilliant style and creativity but, above all, her ability to listen really carefully and deliver what we had asked for. The scope of Emma's ideas included wall finishes, colours, fabrics for all furnishings, carpentry, tiles, floorings, lighting, an attic conversion and new bathrooms. After an hour on the phone fine tuning colours and fabric Emma was able to deliver a fully specified mood board for each room together with fabric, wallpaper and paint specifications. We renovated and decorated the whole interior of the property in just 14 weeks and this was only possible because we had Emma's schemes to work with. Building and decorating costs were definitely kept to a minimum because all the decisions had been made in advance and the spirit of all trades involved remained high throughout because of this. I cannot recommend Emma highly enough - nothing is too much trouble for her and her cheerful, positive attitude will carry you through the process with confidence. Our beautiful home is much admired by everyone who visits, but the best reward is the pleasure we have every day in actually living in the finished rooms.”
