“Julie Graf was the designer for a full remodel of the kitchen in an older home we purchased. We are serious about food and cooking, so the kitchen had to be highly functional; in addition, we are serious about preserving the "feel" of our Victorian-era house, so the design had to take that into consideration. Julie understood those needs and created a design that perfectly blended functionality and beauty while remaining true to the overall feel of the house. She spent a good deal of time talking to us to get a deep understanding of what we wanted, consulted with us frequently to make sure we were all on the same page, and oversaw the work to make sure it was done right. Her sense of color and form helped make our kitchen virtually a showplace. People walking into the room for the first time often say things like "I want this kitchen!" The room is oddly shaped, but she created ample storage space, ample counter space, and extensive pantry-space, while maintaining a sense of spaciousness and allowing easy traffic flow.
