Three Nine Designs

I found Tracey from three nine designs very professional but approachable and friendly whilst she refurbished my flat earlier this year. The actual design was exactly what I wanted and she came up with some great ideas that I hadn't thought of. I would definitely recommend her company to anybody thinking of refurbishing or planning a new build.

Alicia helped me redesign my leaving room and it was amazing! She truly understood the emotions I wanted to achieve with the new interior and made my leaving room my perfect space! Working with Alicia was fantastic, she was creative and quickly put my random ideas into a cohesive plan. She simply understood me and my house :-)

Very functional and well-designed studio: smart use of space with plenty of storage. Living area is pleasant, with a large sofa, comfortable working space and an additional compact table that could extend to a 2m dining table. The murphy bed above the sofa is easy to use, large and very cosy. When lying in bed watching the large flat screen TV on the opposite wall, you feel like you are in a pretty and serene hotel room Bathroom is a very good size, clean and new. The kitchen is fully equipped and very bright, featuring a sliding door that could be closed when cooking A very tastefully decorated studio which makes truly impressive use of space: comfortable, functional and pleasant to spend time in. And very importantly, wonderful landlords who responded to my every need in no time. Thank you!

Last year I had some time in-between 2 jobs and decided to build something that I always dreamed of - a garden studio. This was quite a challenge but I really enjoyed it. Where I needed help the most was in decorating the finish product. I'm good with a drill, but when it comes to choosing colours, I'm at lost. And Jo came to the rescue! The brief was simple. I wanted a modern urban man cave with plywood and all that cool Shoreditch style. Jo first selected the main colour which is a deep blue, and some amazing William Morris wallpaper. I was a bit sceptical about the latter but the end result is fabulous. She organised some shelvings and storage with oiled OSB doors, suggested leaving the raw plywood flooring and helped me selecting a nice Scandinavian desk. The end result is exactly ... me! Thanks a million Jo for this outstanding help!

Initially Sai Interiors helped with the sale of our previous property. Advised on how to present the property more effectively for sale. We did not want to spend much money but Sai Interiors suggested changes which didn't cost a fortune and made a huge difference for instance changing the position of furniture, investing in some new cushions, throws, adding fresh flowers etc. Following on Sai Interiors managed and advised on the refurbishment of 2 bedrooms, a lounge and wc in our new property. We found the service highly efficient - Saima was very knowledgeable on fabrics, paint and accessories and where to find the best deals that matched our budget. Saima found beautiful wallpaper for my daughter's bedroom and liaised with carpenters, electricians, decorator and floor specialists over our new lounge. Saima's attention to detail was excellent as was her communication and resourcefulness. Have recommended already to friends and family.

Emilie was brilliant. She did a complete renovation of my Victorian terrace, upstairs and down, including kitchen extension and reviving some original features that had been stripped away. She took my (attempts at explaining) my style and turned it into an actual vision. She gave me solutions to using the space which I had been defeated by and saved me a lot of money on bad furniture decisions. The contractors Emilie brought in were great too. A friendly, hard working team I came to know and like well. Before she got to work, I basically regretted buying my house. The house had so many issues and we didn't have a lot of room in the budget, but she delivered a home I never want to leave. She is very friendly and professional, never lets you feel like you're alone. Highly recommend.

Sacha helped us with a big design/renovation project this year, when we extended our house. We met her when we bought a lovely Stag chandelier, and she then helped us on a bigger design project. She worked closely with us to come up with brilliant ideas that took the sort of things we liked and translated them into a unique design that was just to our taste - but we could never have actually made happen ourselves! She also took the stress out of what should have been a nightmare project, as my husband and I both work and we have small children. Would recommend highly for Interior projects, or Chandeliers.

Claudia is a consummate professional. Her ideas and taste are original, beautiful and creative. The end-design does not look like it's been ripped out of an interior magazine but rather something unique that reflected our lifestyle and taste . She tirelessly goes to every significant fair and expo to keep her ideas fresh, explores all options before laying out her proposal to the client and is incredibly receptive to feedback. No detail is spared. But above all, her legacy is to create a home; comfort and functionality with great great style. I can’t recommend her highly enough. K Louis NW3, London

There is so much to commend Born and Bred Studio that it’s difficult to know where to start. Lisa lives and breathes design, it’s not so much a passion or an expertise but a true vocation. For novices like myself, she manages to make interior design accessible, affordable and user friendly. She listened intently and worked hard to understand the practical needs of our house and also our aspirations for the space which was nothing more than shell, practically untouched for 60 years. She took on board our ideas, improved them - often suggesting something different that we would never have originally considered - and delivered plans that have far surpassed our expectations. Crucially, Lisa isn’t just an ideas person. She has many practical skills from upholstery and curtain making to screen printing which she put to good use in the house. She is also an absolute magpie and never failed to amaze us the her ebay, gumtree and car boot sale finds. This was not only gentle on our budget but has resulted in a house that’s not ubiquitous and that is now really starting to feel like home. Completely, 100% 5 stars *****
