For example, she made sure the counters in our master bath were the correct height, so I did not have to bend down while using the sink and that the jets that came out of the shower hit my back correctly. She is more than able to manage unexpected outcomes. When our rain shower unit was not available as the bath store promised, Kacey went above and beyond to find the specific unit I desired. “My husband is very handy so we knew he could do the work. Problem was we didn’t have a design plan. I decided to call a professional. From the initial phone call, I felt I could work with Becky. She asked lots of pertinent questions, and I scheduled a home consultation. The project was a living room in a 30 year old house which hadn’t been redecorated in 20 years. We have views of a lake, so a nautical theme seemed natural. After much discussion, Becky suggested a “nautical shabby chic decor” complete with chandelier and seashells. She mentioned several architectural changes, such as taking down a 3/4 high wall near the stairs and installing a horizontal window over the fireplace. Just these 2 ideas added much-needed light into the room. We added white faux beams to the ceiling, a warm ash hardwood floor, and gorgeous grey walls (not a color I would have considered until I saw her picture board). What I especially liked was that she also helped me choose some wonderful, inexpensive accent pieces - a 4 foot sailboat on a shelf over our piano, cut glass lamps to enhance the chandelier, and a beautiful golden rug. These were found in consignment stores! We found Becky easy to talk to and she had out-of-the-box ideas! She listened to what we told her. She is an excellent communicator, and doesn’t try to talk you into something you are not comfortable with. Becky was reliable and when she says she will call you, she does. We would definitely recommend her to anyone who is thinking about a design plan. The outcome is a stunning room that we will be able to enjoy for years to come!”

“Cin is an extraordinary thinker, planner, and visionary. She quickly absorbed our goals and aesthetic and worked closely with us to create a modern home that we love. Early on, she provided 3D renderings of our space - complete with furniture - that made it easy to visualize the entire home before the construction day 1. She did the layout modifications from the big picture down to the small details. She has a sufficient understanding of engineering/architecture/trades such that we did not need an architect - we sent her drawings to a draftsperson who made the architectural plans for submission to engineering and the city permitting. Her plans passed permitting on the first try and our contractor had no complaints about her choices. Cin helped us prioritize project elements when construction bids came in. She advised on electrical & plumbing fixture selection, color schemes, furniture, and so many details. And she did the entire project remotely - without ever seeing our house in person. We are absolutely delighted with the home and Cin's work. She thought of everything. Our construction process went smoothly because we were able to make decisions quickly with her guidance. She is gentle and not pushy of her views, but we quickly learned that we were always happiest with the outcome when we went with her ideas. We will use her again.”

“We were in the process of staging our house to sell, and Andrea came over and analyzed the issue of limited seating in our very smallliving room. She carefully view lo ed the space, and advised us against getting a sectional. Instead, she recommended that we purchase a comfy yet small rounded backed chair, a hanging plant for above the chair, and a small round table to tie it in with the couch and the rest of the living room. To our surprise, her changes made a tremendous difference in how buyers were viewing our space! Our only regret is that we didn't ask her sooner! I would highly recommend Andrea to anyone looking to make their living space exponentially better.”

“I moved into a new home and needed a redo of my first floor and a bit of the bedroom and den on the second floor. Anna Hardy Evans ( owner of In Home Decorating) came highly recommended. I chose her to help me redesign most of my kitchen including reconfiguring closet, TV and wet at spaces. She helped me furnish a few rooms with custom drapes, and furniture and coordinated paint colors throughout the house. I couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. There is a beautiful flow with the decorating that I couldn't have achieved myself.”

“Sacha managed the renovations of a condo for us including gutting the master bathroom, moving walls, and fixing many years of bad renovations by previous owners. She helped us decide what needed to be done to make it look great, suggested contractors, managed the contractors, inspected their work in great detail, ordered and received all of the furniture. We do not live in the condo full time so Sacha made this project painless for us. She did all of the myriad paperwork which the condo building required and managed any glitches between the condo management and our workmen. Sacha was a stickler for details too making the workmen do some things over as well as made suggestions along the way to improve our place. She is terrific and I would highly recommend her as we are now using her services at another property. This is my second review. Sacha has worked on many different projects for us over 3 years now. First the project reviewed above. Sacha did such a great job there that we hired her to upgrade a condo in FL. She listened to what we wanted, put some ideas together and presented them. Our job was to pick a layout and color scheme and then sit back and relax. Again Sacha was amazing and handled every detail. If there was a glitch Sacha handled it perfectly without us getting involved. After that we decided to buy a bigger condo in Boston as well as renovate our farm. We would not have done either project without Sacha by our side! Simultaneously we did a new kitchen, new bathrooms, floors and a few carpentry projects in Boston, along with 4 separate projects at our farm in 4 separate buildings. Sacha supervised two different contractor crews, 2 sets of living renovations (including a new kitchen, 3 new bathrooms, and raising a ceiling), a barn attic made into a media room with a kitchen and bath, a new pool and pool house with a kitchen and bath, and a new building for our dog rescue center. The farm project involved architects,engineers, heating and electrical upgrades as well as custom cabinet makers, upholstery choices and many sub contractors. no detail was missed. I think Sacha has a photgraphic memory! Sacha handled the move from our home in the suburbs too. We split the contents between the Boston condo and the farm marrying an 1832 Greek Revival Farm House with 1980's contemporary furnishings. Sacha hired the movers and supervised that complicated move with furniture going to multiple places. Sacha has become a good friend. Her ability to handle so many moving parts for us is incredible and she does it all with a smile. We can not stress enough how diligent, thoughtful, prepared and mindful of the budget Sacha has been for us. We tell everyone that we couldn't have done this without Sacha by our side. We know she will be the right choice for whatever your next project entails!”
