Asta helped us on our renovation project which ended up being a full gut job and rebuild. I cannot complement enough the diligence with which she does her work. She went above and beyond just the designing aspect, and even did all the electrical circuitry in the house for example. It would not have been possible for us to finish the project without Asta's inputs. There were many aspects where her work was even better than the architecture team in the structural design and the electrical planning.

It has been an absolute pleasure to use the services of Uplifting Interiors to partner with us on our recent home renovation project. From the first moment we met Asta, she was professional, attentive, and very approachable to collaborate on the theme for the house. The overall scope of the renovations was over 3 floors, including 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a new semi-bespoke kitchen. We were shown several concept designs that allowed us to imagine what could be, given sample materials for tiles and carpets and provided guidance on furnishing ideas. The detailed specifications were used to then brief the builders, wooden floor/ carpet fitters, plumbers, electricians, carpenters and decorators. All these artefacts helped to manage the project with multiple contractors and with Asta on hand to help ensure that these were executed as closely as possible. We really appreciated her hard work and going above on beyond to give us the best service. Throughout we always felt our needs were being addressed. And we have no hesitation in recommending Uplifting Interiors to anyone looking for a professional, committed and creative interior design service. From the outset Asta's approach to understanding our requirements and personal style impressed us. It was clear that she had gained a thorough understanding of our requirements when form the outset we loved some of the furniture pieces on the concept board. We located Asta on Houzz as we needed guidance to help us design our main bedroom. Not only was she accessible but she was able to create the ambiance that we required whilst working to a realistic budget. The visual concepts she produced were amazing, good value for money and gave us the opportunity to make our own decision on what we liked. She really maximised the space available. Asta was able to give us a number of alternatives for features and recommend a bespoke wardrobe fitter who installed the unit to a very high standard. Asta is warm and easy to work with. Well, what can we say about Asta other than she brilliant from our first conversation to the end of our refurbishment. She initially asked us what we hoped to achieve by the end of the project by coming round, going through every room in fine detail, taking measurements and giving ideas of what together we thought would work in each room. She went away, drew up the plans and submitted them back to us within the time scale agreed. We took our time to go over the plans/drawings and anything we weren’t quite sure of Asta took her time to explain or change anything we asked, she was always on the end of the phone should we need to discuss anything. We were given everything we needed from ideas on furniture, fittings, decor, paint, cushions etc. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Asta for her professionalism and dedication.

We availaed Asta's services for the colour consultation of whole house. We were highly impressed with her professional and comprehensive approach. She visited our house and took into account various factors such as daylight condition in respective rooms, our desired look and feel, budget etc. She worked with us to identify suitable colpur schema rather than forcing her recommendations to us. She was very accomodative of our timelines too. Very satisfied with the overall outcome.

I've contacted Uplifting Interiors to create a concept for my twin boys' bedroom. I wanted a room to be inspiring and fun but most of all age appropriate. Asta kindly gave me a phone based consultation to discuss our needs and requirements. Soon after, Asta came back to me with two beautiful and playful mood boards. I was very pleased that Asta worked with what we've already had and suggested to re-use the existing toddler beds and refurbish storage units by giving it a new coat of colour and adding some funky handles. Both of these options were full of inspirational artwork, bright colours and beautiful accessories. Asta was amazing to work with - so patient, creative, collaborative. We are delighted with Asta's designed kitchen - living room extension. She created semi open kitchen - dinning - living space where all family can gather and it became a focal point in our house. We love it! Good space planning and lighting design made a huge difference making it very functional and bright, it's light here even in winter months. We had a fixed budget and she atchieved it while still using good quality interior fixtures and materials. Also she supervised the build and negotiated with builders which allowed us to atchieve exactly what we wanted. Hugely reccomend!

Asta commissioned me to photograph a bathroom renovation which she had designed. Her communication before, during and after the job was excellent and she settled my invoice almost immediately! She was confident enough to give me direction, asking for specific shots that she wanted, and was also happy to let me loose creatively. She staged and styled the shoot immaculately and made my job a whole lot easier. Asta was a pleasure to work with and I'd happily shoot her projects again in the future.

When we contacted Asta to help us with the space planning for our South West London house, we already undergone some structural changes. We removed the partition separating two ground floor rooms but had no idea how to aproach this larger living space. Asta was professional from the minute we met, listen carefully to our needs and worked well with our small budget. She had fantastic ideas of how to make the best possible use of this space by zoning the room, reusing some of our existing furniture and incorporating desk into alcove joinery. Her suggestions and options were carefully thought through and I’m pleased with what we achieved in this room. No doubt will be using her services in a near future.

I found Asta through personal recommendation and we contacted her very early in a process, as our apartment block is still being build. The apartment is relatively tiny, only 80 sq.m (860 sq.ft) with awkwardly located (projecting into main living area) family bathroom. As a busy working family with three young children, we found the design process so daunting, but Asta took us through it step by step and made it happen. She come up with many great ideas but always listened carefully to all our requirements and wishes and incorporated them into new design. We liked how she cleverly wrapped up the exterior of the bathroom wall in light timber panelling and integrated tv/media and storage into this unit. And by using the same finish for kitchen cupboards achieved the coherent and clean Scandinavian look we were dreaming of. Not only she provided us with different selections of furniture and accessories that fits our budget, she also made the best use of every single inch in the property by designing bespoke fitted joinery items, incl. kitchen unit, fitted wardrobes in bedrooms, walk in wardrobe in hallway area, family bathroom with plenty of storage. Helped us to choose everything from flooring and paint colours to light fittings, door hardware and soft furnishings. Asta also used 3D design software which really helped us to understand how everything fits together and how we can transform this empty shell into family home. Her great knowledge of products and patience helped us to refine our ideas and to choose the items we will cherish for years. We felt we received a lot of value for the money we spent as Asta is fairly priced and always available for advice or recommendations. We found Asta extremely reliable, flexible and real pleasure to work with, so would highly recommend her for any size project.

I hired Asta for colour and finishes consultation for our 1960s end of terrace. She gave us excellent advice on colour scheme for our dark hallway and staircase, new wallpaper and complementary paint tone completely transformed our lounge and dining room. Following colour consultation, we received written specification detailing our chosen colour pallets for each room including wallpapers reference and even some upholstery and window dressing recommendations. Asta came across very knowledgeable, confident and creative. We will definitely keep in touch for further projects.

I wanted to fully redecorate and furnish my house and sought out help from Asta to help me in the process. She helped me to go out of my comfort zone and the result is fantastic! All my family and friends compliment my house! That always puts a smile on my face.
