“So Cal Builders and Design did a massive remodeling job on my condominium earlier this year in March. The condo was bought by me last year for a really great value, relative to living in L.A. heh, but the problem was it was fairly "worn" from use from the previous tenants who I gathered weren't particularly good neighbors. Regardless, with the great value that So Cal Builders gave me when I called them over to go over the estimate, made it all worth while. I had a limited budget, but they worked with what I had. Regardless of the limitations, they did a fantastic job with the kitchen by adding new cabinets, re-flooring and re-painting the kitchen walls. The living room and the hallway got a brand new coat of paint, and they removed the ugly and stained carpet to replace with laminate flooring. My girlfriend and I wanted them to make sure they paid extra attention to the bathroom and bedroom. So that was where the majority of the work went. Not to mention that the bathroom was a god awful mess that needed a new plumbing job! We replaced the bath tub that was taking so much space with a standing shower, which gave us tons more room, new vanity and lighting. Over all the job was fantastically done!”

“Kitchen remodeling, master bathroom remodeling, hardwood floors, tile floors, windows and doors, roof, electrical....complete renovation. Fine Builders were recommended to me from friends that used their services. Nir Gozlan, the owner, worked with my friends on their project similar to ours and they were very happy with the results. I did meet with a few contractors but Nir was patient and understood our needs, kept within our budget. We met 4 times before moving forward just to be sure everything was clear on both sides. It is a big project for me and my husband. The project just started. We are remodeling out entire house completely from renovating the kitchen, removing walls, master bathrooms, painting, replacing our roof, upgrading our electrical panel. I will update my review after the company will finish our project. We are very excited and we are happy we chose Fine Builders to renovate our home.”

“I contacted this business because they had a nice showroom that was local to my community. My expectation was that they'd be more expensive than others, but I thought it worth the time to give a locally owned shop a shot at my business. I was looking to do a full kitchen re-do and received multiple bids for the work. This included cabinets, floors, appliances, plumbing, etc, etc. I worked with Joanne in the showroom to design the space and then got an all-inclusive bid from PKB. I worked closely with Rich on the bid and final specs as well. This was not my first construction project, so I was fastidious about the bid and both Joanne and Rich were very patient with me. When I got the bid back, I was encouraged by the final price. Of course I was also concerned about out of budget issues that might come up even though both Rich and Joanne assured me thats not the way they worked. I was told the project could take 8-12 weeks, which I assumed meant 12, and I was pleasantly surprised that as the project approached completion, it only took 9 weeks for the full kitchen, which also included the New Year's week. Not only did the project come in on-time, but it wasn't one penny over budget either. There were no, "we didn't know..." or "now that the wall is opened up..." surprises. On time and on budget is something a new concept for me when dealing with contractors, so thanks PKB. On top of that, the kitchen looks spectacular. And for those items that I had to acquire on my own, i.e. appliances and tile, Rich got me his contractors discount and even haggled on my behalf. It has been an absolute pleasure working with PKB and I'd recommend them to anyone.”
