“I met with Alissa to discuss my plans for a design plan for a second kitchen in my house. I found her to be practical, honest and detail oriented. Even thought I did not end up working with her (because my project was very small and more of a do-it yourself type of plan, she explained), she gave me a lot of good ideas on how to save money and simplify my plan. I had planned to put in a lot of expensive custom made cupboards and a bar. She recommended that I use the shelving that was already in place and use a pre-fab bar rather than a custom made one. I just went to the store and found sliding glass doors to cover the shelves and a bar that folds into a table. It will save a good amount of money. I appreciated Alissa's suggestions and patience and would definitely hire her for a bigger project in the future.”

She understood our style and provided great recommendations and tips on design and layout as well as different options to help keep us on budget while still maintaining the quality and look we desired. Tania was very responsive to questions and concerns throughout the process and even after the job was complete when I needed to order more flooring material to match with the rest of the house. The products she represents and offers are of great quality and and 1.5 years down the road, we have not had any issues.”

“Jam and Daniel were fantastic. Their backgrounds in cabinet building, design, and as a General Contractor make them perfect for providing advice and design on custom cabinets. They truly care about your project and spend countless hours in design making sure everything is perfect prior to production. They even helped my fiancé and I understand what we wanted for trash pullouts, magic corner, drawer sizes, and cabinets vs. drawers. When it came to cabinet pulls they routed every drawer and cabinet to perfectly fit the pulls we chose. They do not stop until everything is perfect. Could not have asked for a better experience. As far as price these guys are on par with the two other quotes we received and the extra work and advice they provide at no cost went beyond our expectations.”

“My husband and I worked with Davis Home Pro on an extensive remodel of our 2,000 sq/ft home in Orinda. We took everything down to the studs and DHP did all new electrical, plumbing, dry wall, flooring, etc. Everyone we talked to cautioned us that our project would likely go way over budget and way over schedule. To our delight, this was not the case. DHP worked within our budget and provided alternatives when we need to cut costs. They were extremely up front with us from the get go and we knew exactly how much we were spending and when we went over budget it was our choice - not because we were forced into it or misled. Perhaps more importantly (we were expecting our first baby in the middle of this project), they were ON TIME. These two factors make them 5 stars in my opinion. I would say the quality of their work is very high. We have experienced some minor issues, like doors scraping floors or counters needing additional caulking. But DHP was quick to resolve during our 1-year warranty agreement. In addition to all this, Jason, Richard, Pete and team were a pleasure to work with. Extremely pro active and really nice people. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for jobs big and small.”

“Judi at Kitchens Inside Out was fantastic to work with. Great design concepts for a challenging space. We have a large kitchen (1927 original construction) that was probably last renovated in the 1980's. It was taken down to the studs and re-designed so that we could 1) remove the two posts on either side of the island that were really an eye sore, 2) shrink the size of the island so that the space was more comfortable for working at the island, 3) switch around where the sink had been previously to a better orientation with nicer views out the window facing the front of the house, 4) add two additional windows on either side of the La Canche range, 5) add an additional dishwasher and integrated sink over in the bar area of the kitchen and tons more. I really like the Crystal cabinetry that Judi meticulously measured and styled for our kitchen and bar/entertainment side of the kitchen as well. Kitchens are too important to try and design on your own. Best advice is to work with a professional that knows what they are doing, has the resources and knowledge, and that is Kitchens Inside Out.”

I thought I knew what I wanted, but didn't have the technical expertise to deal with plumbing, electricity etc. She brought so much more to the table. I was able to do everything I wanted, along with being "green" in the design and it turned out beautifully!
