“We invited Bethan from Freshwater interiors to help us to redesign our living room which was in dire need of renovation. It was a great decision to get her on board. We are practical people rather than artistic and we realised that, if left to our own devices, we would end up with a very bland room. Bethan helped us to identify a style which suited us and our property. She helped us to use colour and combine patterns. We ended up with a design which involved wall paper and vertical radiators...neither of which we would even have thought of, but we love them. We didn't use Freshwater Interiors to deliver all of our renovation work as we already had a builder onboard. However, the work which Freshwater did do was completed to a high standard. I would recommend them without hesitation. We have continued to call on Bethan for pattern/fabric choices, curtains etc when decorating other rooms and we will definitely use Freshwater Interiors again in the future whilst renovating our next home.”

“I cannot recommend Dennis Hellyar architects highly enough. This was a bereft and unloved property in poor condition in need of considerable attention. DHA reviewed, and saw potential with an imaginative, bold scheme (perhaps too bold for some). Their enthusiasm and imagination carried all before it, and now we are the proud owners of an exciting and remarkable space at the heart of the city. Being new to renovations, we were heavily reliant on the team put together by DHA and I now believe our confidence in them was well placed. DHA was the fulcrum of the team, keeping a weather eye on progress, quality and costs. Above all their attention to detail proved the key to a quality result. The firm has an enormous wealth of experience covering domestic and commercial work and it was evident this was brought to bear in the job. In particular, DHA went the extra mile to make this work.”

“Tom worked on a side return extension on our late-victorian terraced house. He understood our brief really quickly, and was able to balance understanding our priorities with challenging and helping us to develop our thinking to make sure we got the most from the design and the space, while also identifying possible cost-savings and which expenses were essential or worthwhile. We did a lot of the kitchen design ourselves, as well as managing builders when they started work, and he was happy to accommodate this, which we appreciated. Extremely reliable and kept us in the loop at every step. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend working with Tom.”
