“We were having a significant amount of extension work carried out by a local professional project management company. A new kitchen was a major part of this project. The project management company directed us towards their usual fitter - an established company we were aware of. We saw this company and described a feature we wanted. We were told by them that there was no space for this feature. We were supplied with one black and white plan of what we were told could be done. We got the impression that no effort was being put in and the company assumed they already had our business and we were an inconvenience. We then looked around and found Arc+be. From the beginning it was a totally different experience. Jide is so enthusiastic about his work. He began by saying not only was there room for the feature we wanted but he could make it bigger if so desired. He was friendly and appeared as excited about our new kitchen as we were. He spent time with us finding out our likes and dislikes and what use was to be made of the kitchen - a lot of our cooking is not traditional western style, though much is. Jide came up with three suggested plans for us, not only showing the proposed layouts but, for each one, providing a colour, computer generated image of what it would look like. He talked through all the options with us and different finishes etc.. We had no hesitation in placing our order with this company. We were provided with a full cost breakdown, copy of the plan and image of the fitted product together with pictures of the white goods, cupboards, finishes (down to the draw handles) we had chosen. The whole extension was a stressful time but having the kitchen fitted was a pleasure. We were kept informed at all stages, work was done when we were told it would be done and when there was a glitch we were brought solutions not excuses. (e.g. the American style fridge freezer we had selected was not available, Jide told us this and offered us a better one, at the same price to us, that he had already ensured was available). Throughout the build, and after it had been completed, we felt that this project was as important to Arc+be as it was to us. Everyone we dealt with - the planner, the fitter, the tile fitter - came across as true professionals who took a pride in their work and enjoyed what they were doing and we're not just doing a job. They are craftsmen (and women). I am not in the habit of making recommendations but I have already recommended this company to a number of people. I would say to anyone thinking of a new kitchen, talk to this company and compare them to others. I feel sure they will come out on top.”

“I have used Stone Heat for the past 4 years to completely refurbish a house including fitting of 2 bespoke bathrooms, repainting of walls and ceilings and consecutive maintenance. They have also helped me to fit wooden flooring in another house plus erect a fence. The quality of their work is always impeccable and the always arrive early, clean after themselves and e-mail you regular photo updates of the work progress and completion. So there is no need to be on site at all. I would strongly recommend them to anyone.”

“We are delighted with our Siematic kitchen and found all aspects of working with Grid 13 a pleasure. The showroom is aesthetically welcoming but personalised and comfortable. Our initial visit made obvious the range of products and styles available and Natalie understood that I had ideas in mind and then facilitated finding the perfect units, splash-backs and work surfaces. As quite a large family, we struggled for space in our old kitchen. I had a large dining room that I loved and would never have thought that I could be persuaded to swap the spaces around in favour of a larger kitchen. Natalie's designs and the high quality virtual images made it clear to us that her vision for our kitchen was the right choice. One of the aspects that we were most pleased with was the quality of builders, electricians, plumbers and kitchen fitters recommended to us. Without exception, they were highly skilled and professional; well-mannered and tidy. Any unavoidable hitches in the process were dealt with straight away and with the minimum amount of fuss. The kitchen fitted seamlessly into a large room; the MDF frames are perfectly fitted and ensure that the room looks finished and contrasts the modern style of the kitchen with the traditional features of the room which we so desperately wanted to retain. The units are sturdy but elegant and some of the smaller details such as the plug sockets and cupboard space utilisation are useful and space-economic. The Siemans appliances are quiet and work brilliantly; I certainly expected to find the transition to an induction hob more challenging after cooking exclusively on an AGA for twelve years! The site was left tidy but the included cleaning service afterwards was thorough and like all the work, organised at the time we needed it. I recommend Siematic kitchens and specifically Grid 13 without reservation; a beautiful kitchen and a great experience.”
