Omar executed on the plan and added in so many thoughtful details that were not anticipated in the beginning but were the extra little things that turned a project from good to great. Omar and Karen's employees were always courteous and treated us with a high level of respect even stopping what they were doing when our young children had to walk by just to make sure they stayed safe. In certain situations, my wife and I added additional ideas and Karen and Omar were always receptive to our ideas and worked them into the final product. Karen and Omar are so customer focused and professional to work with it made the whole process something we look back on with a smile. We actually miss the crew being around the house now that the work is done (so we have hired them on to be our full time gardeners!).”

“I just bought a house in the high desert and I called Ketti for a consultation, I wasn't sure if she would know about how to work in the desert climate but her ideas were amazing. She knows so much about plants and she helped me find the right plants that would grow in my area. Ketti's work is so creative I don't think any other designer would think of the things she does. For example my backyard was surrounded by a pinkish block wall. She suggested I paint the brick a natural plant enhancing brown,and it was amazing how much that small change made in the area. I know with her continuing consultation my yard is becomeing something out of a fairytale, I'll be stepping out into a art-gallery of nature and artistic stone paths that will uplift my soul on a daily basis.”

“Julia was phenomenal when helping us with the landscaping of our home in Calabasas, originally designed by Frank O. Gehry. She was fantastic. Her design aesthetic is right on point. My husband and I are super critical when it comes to all things design-related. We did not have to give Julia very much direction at all, and she hit it ‘on the head’ with what we were hoping for. We loved everything she chose and did for us. She was also thorough enough to look into the climate in our area to choose plant life suitable for our land and to ensure survival of the plants (taking into account weather, animal life, etc). She was extremely timely and proactive throughout the entire process, and also came up with great alternatives when striving to stick within our budget. But she also held true to her understanding of the importance of sourcing, etc, so we never had to compromise quality or style. We highly highly recommend her and her team from both a design and professional prospective. This gal has both the 'eye' and the background.”

Andrew completed the job within agreed timeframe and budget. He was very collaborative in the design process, incorporating and improving upon our suggestions. Andrew was also very flexible; he is especially adept at revising the plan during the installation, as required by the conditions encountered. Andrew provided me with the necessary documentation to receive the DWP rebate. His workers were careful and considerate, and left the work site very tidy every evening. Our yard is now the envy of our neighbors.”

Harley met with us several times and worked up a set of plans that met our needs as well as suggested design items we wouldn't have thought of on our own. His experience with design really improved our ideas and we are very happy with the results.
The installation of the new area was done smoothly and Harley's entire crew was friendly and easy-going. The deck work was top notch and no details slipped through the cracks. Harley has come back several times to deal with little corrections and has been both professional and really warm at all stages of the project.
I would not hesitate to recommend Prodigy Design-Build to anyone and we will definitely use them again if and when we re-do the front yard!”

Mr. Barker came up with some very good ideas of the best use of our environment to meet both of these contrasting purposes. He was very patient as we discussed the pros/cons of each layout, and was readily available to assist us with modifications, or alternative vantage points. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr. Barker, he was exceptional to work with.”

The photos Scott brought and the videos we saw on HGTV definitely make us want to use this company. He was very professional and we liked him very much. He was interested in making our yard fit us and our lifestyle. But, our budget doesn't :-( His designs are beautiful and I have confidence that if we used them we would be very happy with the outcome. It's hard to make these big decisions and it's been over 6 months since we met with Scott and haven't gotten started with another company yet.”
