“Cheryl came highly recommended by a friend to help design part of our mature garden after a barn had been built to replace an old shed and some very old and diseased shrubs and trees had been removed. As a keen gardener I thought I knew what I wanted and was a bit surprised when Cheryl started by looking at our address on Google Earth but this demonstrates how she starts with the overall shape of the garden and an understanding of the surrounding landscape. Cheryl visited the garden twice. On the first we talked about how we use the garden, what we like, don’t like and how we want to maintain it. Cheryl left us with a sketch. On the second visit we refined the design on a scale drawing and discussed planting ideas. We’ve now had the plan created by a landscaper and are delighted with the result. The whole garden now makes sense – we have an interesting design that works so well but actually didn’t change much – changing a border shape, relocating an armillary sphere and creating a path through some existing trees where all unexpected things that make the garden so cohesive. Could not have achieved this without the help of a professional garden designer and Cheryl was a pleasure to work with, extremely knowledgeable, creative and generously still on hand for ongoing planting advice.”

“We are very pleased that we chose Artisan to remodel our garden. Artisan's design addressed our requirements and improved the garden both aesthetically and practically. We chose an oak frame and kebony for the deck, with porcelain paving and reclaimed local stone facing for the retaining wall. “Sheldon of Eden Garden Solutions was recommended to us initially for some maintenance work. He was so passionate about our garden we soon began discussing what else he could help with. The moment we saw one of his designs we knew we needed him to design a garden for us. We have 1/4 of an acre of hilly terrain with crumbling walkways, an old garage blocking half the garden, a main road at the front from which we wanted shelter, a desire to better handle the water that runs onto and down the land and a superb view which we wanted to exploit.
