“I had a fairly large border (approx 8m x 5m) which had been neglected for a few years. I wanted to create a low maintenance flower bed and liked the idea of a country garden look. Ben and Paul came round and assessed what was there in terms of position (light/shade), soil and the shrubs which were worth retaining. We also discussed budget. I then received a planting plan with a quotation and commissioned the work. The bed was cleared and planted mid June and I am delighted with the result. I now have a bed which will flower more or less from May to September and will require increasingly less maintenance as it matures. FGD are extremely knowledgeable and gave me advice on other areas of my garden (not areas which will result in work for them). I do have another two areas which do need a makeover and I will certainly commission them to undertake the project.”

“Faith provided me with a design and plant sourcing service. My garden was tired and several older shrubs where really past their best. Faith gave me the confidence to remove and replace instead of trying to work around old plants she also pointed out areas in the garden that were just not working form a design point of you and why. Which helped me justify making some radical changes and completely re-work the garden layout. She also pointed out how the larger trees in the garden needed maintenance and with Faiths team the work was carried out quickly and efficiently But the thing I found really tough was trying to understand which plants to put where and how to create the style of garden i was aiming for. This is where Faith was amazing, her plant knowledge and understanding was superb, she was instantly able to identify the sort of plants that would work for my soil and shade, and how to lay out a plan that gave interesting foliage and colour from early spring right through to autumn. Her clever design has given me a focal point and interesting paths so I can really appreciate my garden from several angles. The planting plan has provided a flow and the colour palette is exactly as I wanted. I never really appreciated how important it was to have a nice garden until now and my husband and i look out everyday and love the new space that has been created. Thank you.”

“We engaged Waterside for a re-design of our garden. They combined some of our ideas with their experience and we agreed a start date and completion date. The work was carried out as agreed, on budget and on time! We are very happy with it and 6 months on would highly recommend Waterside for projects of varying size and complexity .”

“Wild to Wonderful, run by Cathy Cornish, is an excellent garden design company. I used them for a major project in 2008 and was very happy and am using them again now for our current project. Cathy is a designer who listens carefully to her client's requirements and then turns them into well presented briefs to suit the level of budget available. Cathy is also a great gardener and pops in twice a year to help with major prunings etc.”

“Mick and his team led by Nick made the whole process very simple, from design, to the selection of equipment and materials and agreeing small but important details, such as lighting. The build process was quick, smooth and undisruptive. We are delighted with our outdoor kitchen and having great fun experimenting with the pizza oven. Our only regret is not having it installed earlier.”

“Our narrow townhouse garden - we're in a Victorian terrace - has to work pretty hard. We wanted a beautiful garden - naturalistic, relaxing - but also one that our three children could enjoy; and somewhere we could work, in the garden studio. Angus's design is fantastically clever, easy to live with and we absolutely love it. We get so much pleasure from our garden on a daily basis - and it's transformed the view from the house. Responsive and creative, we highly recommend ATD. If we ever moved house - and garden - we'd use them again without hesitation.”

“We commissioned Faber Coeptis to make a BBQ table. The result was superb. We let Stefan be a little creative and we were not disappointed. The table looks great and the artistic pictures that have been drawn by burning them onto the wood look great. Has been a big talking point.”

“My husband and I had been thinking about investing in our front and back garden for some time. Some close friends of ours had recently finished work on their garden space so we went to visit them in May last year to see their new space, we were so impressed with the transformation we became excited and more determined to change our own garden which at the time looked empty, disorganised, cluttered and uninspiring. We wanted a space which extended our home where we could relax and unwind during the summer months, something low-maintenance and modern in style. After looking at the website we contacted Rich Green Gardens and arranged for Rich to visit us for an informal chat and to see our garden. We discussed ideas and he brought along his portfolio and we looked at images we really liked on the RichGreenGardens pinterest and instagram sites. From there Rich went away with our favourite ideas, put them into designs and returned the following week. We chose one we felt happy with, discussed costs and agreed a plan. 2 months later the garden was complete and we are so happy with the result, it totally changed our summer and we now enjoy the space which feels like an additional room to our home, we've had a couple of barbecues over the summer and everyone has complimented how cool the garden is. Couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Rich Green Gardens for creativity, design and professionalism. Great work!”
