“We used LGD for several projects, not least the design and building of our garden. The design process was painless, with expert advice from their lead designer on hand almost whenever we needed her. The build was complicated due to access through the house and parking issues; however, the work was of the highest expected standards, and the project management allowed us to take a step back and let the team get on with the work. Both the landscape team and designers were engaged and polite throughout.”

“Nigel came round to offer his 'garden design in a day' service. We have a difficult sloping garden and he was really good at understanding what we wanted and also helping us to think about things we hadn't considered. He also took careful consideration of our budget and came up with a really innovative but practical design and helped us find a suitable contractor. The garden looks great, we use it so much more and the design has attracted many compliments.”

“Moved to new house where garden had been totally neglected by previous tenants. Paul did an excellent job of strimming and cutting back the lawn, and expertly cut borders either side. “Sara is working with us to develop a large scale garden for our co-working space and business centre, Spithurst Hub, in Barcombe. It has from the very start been a real pleasure to work with Sara. She is very good at listening to what we as clients want, but she also puts her own views across confidently yet sensitively, based on her experience. The work is being undertaken in stages and Sara has proved to be flexible and adaptable in relation to helping us work to our budget. We are extremely happy with the bee and butterfly friendly planting plan she put in place for our heavy clay soil and it is impressive how well the plants have taken in a short space of time. In our experience, Sara is a reliable, professional, knowledgeable and friendly garden designer with a true passion for plants and design. “Carol created “The ornamental kitchen garden- sustenance in the city” for us. We loved her excellent design and she carried it out expertly. She and her team were lovely, enthusiastic, easy to work with and meticulous about leaving the site tidy! Carol is totally unpretentious - a real breath of fresh air! She listens carefully to you and then creates your garden - She is an artist, an excellent designer and extremely knowledgable about plants and sustainability. We invested a lot to restore our Victorian house but the garden project has definitely proved to be the best value. Our garden is amazing. It always looks good and gives us so much pleasure. “Kristina created a beautiful garden from the more or less bare field that came with our house. It was a really awkward L-shape with an unsightly view of the nextdoor outbuilding and Kristina managed to create a garden of three compartments which made sense of the space, with a pleached hornbeam hedge to screen the view. Kristina listened to all our requirments and delivered a stunning colourful flower garden with a pergola of our choice as a centrepiece, which gives us joy all the year round. She helped us monitor the progress of the hard landscaping contractors, prepared the beds and planted up the garden to the highest standard all within a short timescale. We have shown our garden for the last two years for the National Gardens Scheme and always receive wonderful comments about it. Kristina continues to oversee our garden and its ongoing development.”

“Laura Antiss has been and continues to be a pleasure to work with as a creative designer for my garden project . She has helped me crystal my bucket list into a workable design providing working drawings for the Landscape contractors including construction,electrical,irrigation and planting elements. She is hugely personable, flexible , full of common sense, very practical with great design flair and mindful of cost implications. “We had a very small space with an odd shape and awkward levels and were at a bit of a loss as to how to deal with it. David was a marvel in how he cleverly teased out our 'wants' and 'needs' and distilled them into a fabulous design which we instantly fell in love with. He also project managed the works and his constant attention to the implementation and strong focus on quality and problem solving was much appreciated. David is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and hard working; and was always open to us making changes as we went along.
