“Aralia designed and built our small garden, transforming the ragged mish-mash of unplanned year-on-year additions into a more modern space with two water features and plenty of room to sit at various points to admire the planting and the design. Height is achieved through pleached hornbeams, black bamboo (which grows up rather than out) and a crab apple. The illusion of greater space in what is a small garden is provided by the rill and pond and pathways. Distinct planted areas now lead the eye to the flowers and plants. All completed with the minimum fuss and in good time.”

“Paul possesses a depth of knowledge, a passion and an eye for detail that is second to none. He took our plot (ugly patio, laid to lawn, patchy and moss ridden) and transformed it into a thing of beauty which takes my breath away daily. He listened carefully to our aspirations and made some detailed notes which he then turned into a design upon which a detailed landscape and planting plan was developed for the landscaping team. Paul was onsite regularly throughout the 3 week project and carried out all of the planting himself. He even popped back to meet with us after completion to hand over and give us all the information and tips we need to maintain our new 'living room'. We are already using it more. The different layers and textures integrate to give a feeling of space and tranquility we never had before. The lighting casts shadows on the house and highlights our feature trees and shrubs which we look forward to watching grow. I've always lived my life at 100mph and Paul has given me something I've never had before; a space to relax and a hobby that I can grow into that brings a new element to my life. I whole-heartedly recommend Paul to anyone considering a garden project.”
