“The Ream Design team was outstanding in all aspects of the project. They took the time to understand our tastes and needs, and created detailed site plans They listened to our feedback and worked to create plans that we felt comfortable with, guiding us along the way in a constructive manner. We we signed the dotted line they brought in a large crew with the necessary tools. The plants they furnished were top notch. They took care to plant carefully, clean up every day, and to not damage any of the surroundings. If there was a problem they took case of it. No problem was too small. They then guided us during the critical first year when the landscape developed. They took obvious pride in their work and we ended up with a top notch landscape that gets better every year. We were completely satisfied with their work.”

“Rutland Nurseries completed 2 projects for us, 2 walkways and an enclosed patio with a rounded sitting wall (Unilock®). There were many positives to having work done by the crew from Rutland Nurseries, among them are: Andy was the designer and supervisor of both projects. He was very easy to work with and patient throughout the planning process. He made suggestions but did not force his opinions on us. He was present almost daily throughout the projects. In addition, the workers arrived on time each morning and came daily until the project was completed. They were respectful of our property and the neighbor’s yard as well. At the end of each day their materials and tools were stored. The workers were personable and had Rutland Nurseries logos on their shirts. We are extremely happy with the work that was completed and would highly recommend Rutland Nurseries if you are thinking of walkways or patios!”

“We hired Dan and Corey last summer to design plans for landscaping a difficult hillside and our front yard. They selected and installed the plantings and sod and installed cobblestone edging and a paver walkway. We decided to have them do the work in three phases to match our budget. They have completed the installation for two of the three phases, and we are thrilled with the outcome. Their work is top-notch. They have an eye for design and they use top-rated materials. In fact, they turned an eyesore of a rocky, weed-filled hillside into an asset. They know what they're doing, and they do things the right way. They are a small company (just the two guys) so they do the work themselves - which is how we like to do things. We plan to have them do the final phase this summer.”

“No one is better than Blade of Grass. Exceptional vision coupled with practical advice. Our backyard plan morphed from a simple "let's knock off the rotting deck" to a backyard redo replete with blue stone patio, field stone wall, irrigation system, tree removal and many new trees and plantings. The team worked hard under difficult conditions (no access for machinery, giant boulder to dig out), the job was done in a timely manner and the outcome surpassed my very high expectations. Tom and Pete were easy to work with, professional and fun. They listened to what we wanted and guided us on key plantings/trees. When a winter storm caused a tree to list heavily to one side, they came and replanted it - almost a year after the job. I am incredibly happy with our backyard transformation and highly recommend Blade.”

“Ralph provided initial input for our back yard design, which really helped transform our space. He helped us visualize a unique layout to encompass our naturally-shape, in-ground pool and provided valuable input on it's installation. When time came for patio installation, his team was professional, efficient and courteous. What was going to be an 800 sq.ft. patio, became an almost 1,100 sq.ft. patio through the installation process and the team made adjustments to accommodate the additional without issue! A real Team, dedicated to doing great work and giving customers a quality, finished product. The result was amazing and we could not be more pleased. “Maria was a delight to work with as she listened to our needs and desires for our garden and developed a five part plan. We chose to go ahead with three of the parts and she then oversaw the creation of a beautifully terraced and lit front perennial garden, the creation of a curved retaining wall that is like a piece of sculpture in our backyard we can see from our back windows, and a succulent rock garden. In addition, the front entry garden planting combinations for all seasons frames and creates your entry garden. We could not recommend her more highly as a creative and professional garden designer.”
