As I did not have a lot of money to spend, we arranged a short consultation with a single site visit to focus on creating some shape and structure for the garden. Laara helped me to focus my ideas and together we gradually built up a picture of how my garden could look. As she was on site, Laara could easily tell me which of my ideas and wishes were viable and which of them were unrealistic. At the end of the visit, Laara sketched a plan of the garden with all the details that we had talked about and agreed upon. I can now use this plan to make the changes in the garden in stages. Over time, I will be able to create a new and fresh garden without having to do it all in one single expensive overhaul. Laara has a nice light touch. She guided me away from unworkable ideas and took the workable ones and expanded and developed them. She simplified my choices as my mind had become overwhelmed with all the possible options. “My husband and I had been thinking about investing in our front and back garden for some time. “I've known Ana for two years, since I went looking for a garden designer/expert to tackle a community project (a huge double green wall to the entrance of Ancastle Green, RG9 1TR). She was one of three companies that provided me with a quote and design, and she's the one I chose. She 'got' what I was trying to achieve straight away, and had already created a smaller scale green wall in a nearby village, so I was able to see the results. The community project is still in its early stages due to local red tape, but I'm hopeful she'll be able to complete this at some point in the future. She was very understanding of the delay. In the meantime, having been so impressed, not only by her experience and professionalism, but by her warm, friendly demeanor, and lack of egotism, I contacted her for my own private project - a remodeling of my front garden. Even though this is a tiny project compared to the community one, she was happy to take it on. She went the extra mile by also providing a design of my back garden (which I had expressed my concerns about) - which was very decent of her, even though I didn't end up needing it. I love her ideas and designs for the front, and I'm extremely excited to see the results. The project is due for completion in Spring 2017.
