“Mclaughlin installed hardscape in my backyard consisting of spa with waterfall, fireplace, retaining walls, raised patio with dual steps, pilasters and custom benches. The hardscape turned out beautiful. High quality material consisting of travertine and stacking stone , excellent color/texture for stone work, grand looking custom colored concrete caps on retaining walls and pilasters. High quality spa equipment. The curves for walkways and walls add an interesting dimension to yard. Jerry has a key eye for art which he is able to translate into his landscaping projects.”

“We completed our custom home in February of 2018 and our favorite part is of the landscaping. Drew was able to create a beautiful and cohesive design that incorporated all of the areas we wanted without compromising the flow of our yard. Our home has been published three different times and the backyard is always at the for front, as our home wraps around the pool and outdoor space. Even though it's been five years since our home was completed the design is still current and timeless. I have since changed some of the interior furniture and Drew and Danny helped me refresh my yard. I wouldn't do a project without them. They are truly the best! Robin Strickler”

“We came to JMS Design from a referral from our interior designer. We started this project with a dirt lot and everything was built from ground up. We wanted an east coast feeling to our landscape with areas that we could enjoy as well as space for the kids to play. This was achieved through the pool and knot garden areas. Also the entertainment pool house has been a big hit with the outdoor tv and adjacent barbecue being used regularly. The installation went smoothly and we enjoy the plantings and bluestone and brick paving.”

“Ray completely designed our front and back yard including all hardscape and softscape. We wanted to put in a pool and complete outdoor living environment in our back yard, and upgrade our front yard / driveway to enrich the entire look of the property. He did a phenomenal job on the Design. We went back a forth a couple of times till we settled on exactly what we wanted. He was great at presenting us with options to fit our budget. And, he monitored the contractor during implementation which was a big help. Ray took personal pride in every detail. He has a passion for quality and settled for nothing less that perfection. We recently had to move and sell our property. I have to say our yard sold the house and we made a 100% return on our investment in our yard. I cannot recommend Ray high enough.”

“My husband and I decided to remodel our front and back yards 3 years ago and wanted a drought tolerant garden. We hired Catherine through a friend’s recommendation who was very pleased with her work. Catherine is a pleasure to work with, she made sure that she understood what we wanted and listened carefully to find out our tastes and lifestyle. She brought lots of great suggestions that we would not have thought of and designed a beautiful plan. While the garden was under construction, she was hands on paying attention to every detail during the process making sure that everything was perfect and on budget. Three years later, the results are beyond our expectations, we get compliments all the time and people even stop in the street to photograph our garden. As Catherine told us, maintenance is low and we save a nice amount of money every month on our water bill compared to our old landscape.”
