“In 2012 after living in our house for the last 18 years, we decided to update our 1970's colonial rather than move. This project included the landscaping as well as the home itself. After looking at many landscape companies and numerous properties, we decided to hire The LaurelRock Company. We felt that their landscape designers were very current and had a way of listening and interpreting a very botanically uneducated clients wishes! They married our newly remodeled home with our existing pool as if it had always been built this way. The outcome was a very cohesive project that was handled with the utmost professionalism and timeliness. Thank you LaurelRock for helping us have the home of our dreams !”

“LDAW remodeled my pool and plantings for the landscape around the pool. They also designed the plantings for the front of my home. This is an extremely professional organization and I would use them again. Estimates are done by the owner and his drawings will explain exactly what to anticipate. The laborers are on time, reliable and take a lot of pride in their work. The owner is available and will return calls if need be. I cannot see how things could have gone better for both of these large projects for my home.”

“Richard is a very professional personable and well versed landscape artist! I have used Richard to landscape my home, my courtyard, and have recommended his services to my neighbor(used Richard) and friends! Richard has extensive knowlege of perenials, bushes, trees, soil, top dressings, and how best to feature each plant in the garden! He has a very high work ethic and guarantees his work and his plants! Richard will often stop by to check on the plants to see how they are doing and if there is a better location in the garden for the plant, he will replant! Richard's work ethic is superb, and his workers also! Don't hesitate to contact him and see the magic he can perform in your garden for all season color! “Genna has done work for me for more than 15 years, in several different homes. She is a delight to work with. Her ideas are terrific, she is very sensitive to clients' tastes and budgets and brings projects in consistently on time and within budget. We wanted the impossible --- lovely gardens, reasonably priced, and very (very) low maintenance. Genna has always delivered. Neighbors stop to admire our front yard, if only they could see the back! Even better! Genna has done plant designs, hardscaping, patios, stone steps, outdoor showers, the whole gamut. She bids out the jobs, checks references on the contractors and oversees the installation. She continues to answer questions even years after a project is done. Her taste is impeccable and her client service skills are superb. We all love working with BKLA studio.”

“Very professional. Very responsive to phone calls and emails. I had Julie come out and take a look at my yard for a possible patio. She gave me a reasonable quote with ideas on what to do with the patio and the layout. Other people I contacted just came in, said "this is the quote" and left. Julie took the time to say "you dont need this large of a patio, if you do it this big, we can save you money and it will still look great". I also had her come plant some bushes. She gave me a quote on removing the old bushes but said it would be cheaper for me to hire someone who has the machinery to remove the bushes rather than her rent the machine. Having someone who can tell you that gave me the confidence that I know she is looking out for me, and not her bottom line. That is why I am definitely using her for all my landscaping needs.”

“Ransom and Ryan with R Design are true design professionals. Landscape design can be done in a loose freehand way or can be done by professionals; there is a huge difference. R Design has a team of Landscape Architects who don't just create exterior spaces, but truly design spaces that tailor the look and function to the desires of the owners and architects. I've worked with Ransom and Ryan on projects from the Caribbean to communities throughout Colorado. I have a strong working relationship with R Design and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great team of Landscape Architects. Although they can design to the specifics of any project aesthetic, they are some of the best when it comes to site planning and modern landscape design.”

“Karen has guided three garden projects for us and she is always a pleasure to work with. She was keen to understand my needs, desires and goals and then brought thoughtful, creative ideas to layer on. She respects the land and the context of each project, and her proposal are well considered. But she is open and will adjust and refine with my input to provide the ideal plan. Then, she oversees the execution and ensures the best-quality work is delivered.r The latest project was a 20x20 encloses vegetable garden using feeding troughs for raised beds. It is highly functional and beautiful in all seasons. Not a great pic attached, but you can see how the garden keeps the deer out!”
