“Nigel came round to offer his 'garden design in a day' service. We have a difficult sloping garden and he was really good at understanding what we wanted and also helping us to think about things we hadn't considered. He also took careful consideration of our budget and came up with a really innovative but practical design and helped us find a suitable contractor. The garden looks great, we use it so much more and the design has attracted many compliments.”

“Very impressed by this firm. It's true to say that they took us 'on a journey', converting our small garden which had become a bit of a 'rewilding project' to something beautiful and usable. Scott visited us, and we decided to go for his design service, and he came up with three plans. Once the garden was cleared of four Leylandii and an apple tree, he came up with a fourth which we ultimately went with. Once the work started, we soon saw that James, the foreman on site, was a real perfectionist, and ably assisted by Jim and Mikey, it was a delight to see a mess transformed into something we're looking forward to using. After completion, we had a couple of minor snagging issues, and all resolved speedily and to our complete satisfaction. Apart from anything else, they're all nice people, and we're missing them already. No hesitation in recommending this firm.”

“Architectural Plants provide a fantastic service. They are so knowledgable and professional whilst remaining friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, from choosing, designing, planting, watering system, and even pruning!! Their plants are superb quality, every time, from small shrubs to our wonderful cork oak trees! “Moving in to a brand new house we had a blank canvas with which to work, and count ourselves most fortunate when we were recommended to Anna by a neighbour. It was clear from the outset that Anna works with a process, first asking us what our priorities are and how much time we would be willing to give to ongoing maintenance etc. the brief we gave her was for low maintenance, year round colour, koi pool and dog friendly. At every point Anna exceeded our expectations. She has also kept her word by performing regular garden check-ups to make sure we're on track. Highly recommended.”

“Josie and Nigel redesigned, built and replanted a small sheltered back garden, changing it from a dark mass of overgrown bushes and trees to a light , bright patio oasis. It has been a lovely, relaxing outdoor living room all summer that we have enjoyed being in almost daily. They took on board my ideas, using their knowledge and experience to enhance and improve them to the best effect. The building work was organised, efficient and clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a sensitively designed fresh look to their garden.”

“Stuart Barfoot transformed La Rocca’s garden from a building site into a paradise. Stuart listened attentively to our vision and came up with designs that exceeded our expectations in every way. Charming, reliable, honest and courteous it was a huge pleasure to work with him over the last 18 months as he brought terrace by terrace to life with his confident vision and extraordinary flair. He knew exactly what does and doesn’t grow in Italy and his attention to detail from hard landscaping through to planting has given us a garden beyond our wildest dreams. He worked well with our architects, regarding lighting and building needs, and was diplomatic, friendly and firm. We would welcome the chance to work with him again in the future.”
