FireDean was always up front with time and cost. He provided a blueprint and photoshop picture of the finished garden and an itemized list of all plants, material and labor costs. Any changes were agreed upon beforehand. The stonework took a little longer than expected because of his attention to detail. Our back and forth communication was always prompt and complete. I trust FireDean to always do excellent work. He prides himself on his finished product and pleasing his customer. He did both in my case. I know I'll have years of pleasure with my backyard. “Philippe Soule has worked with me for the past four years to design, install, expand and maintain the gardens around my home in Columbia County. While most of the jobs pictured on his web site are city or town gardens, my property is a country house of relatively recent construction. Some work had been done at the property by a different contractor, but it was not properly scaled to the house and was not satisfactory. Philippe listened extremely well to my own ideas, and came up with a new planting plan that was responsive to my parameters while introducing wonderful new elements that I never would have come up with. He was able to make use of almost all of the plant material that was already on-site (though it was moved around and significantly augmented). He has a great sense of proportion and composition, and he knows his plants. The job involved laying out extensive new beds, and Philippe and his team laid them out well and brought in significant soil to make sure that everything would be properly planted. The initial planting looked very good the first year, but really came into its own in year two. Plants were thoughtfully selected to ensure year-round interest. Since Philippe's initial planting, he has added to the gardens with significant new plantings (some new beds near the house, and more trees around the property) each year. Philippe and his team have done all of the garden maintenance, and they keep the place looking great. His team are conscientious and professional. I could not be happier with their work.”

“I met David Katz when I was interviewing landscape architects for a pool and spa I wanted to build on a property I'd recently acquired in the Hudson Valley. I'm a business person myself and very careful when choosing who I work with. Accordingly, I interviewed 5 different architects before choosing to go with Elite. Everyone I met with was talented, but David Katz was on a different level. Whereas others would walk the property and talk about what they thought, after I'd walked the property with David and we had talked, he started drawing. Within 15 minutes, I had a full rendition of what was clearly right for the property. If there were one theme to my relationship with Elite, it would be this--execution. The other architects talked vaguely of being able to get the pool done in 15 months or so. I told David I wanted to be swimming in thee months. He said I was crazy. I asked him if he could get it done. He said yes. Three months later, on the 4th of July weekend, my family was swimming. That's what's truly special about David and the Elite team--they can get the job done, on time, and on budget. Moreover, while I was forced to manage my house contractors daily, I didn't have to even think about Elite. They transformed our property in exactly the right way, and I didn't have to manage a thing. That has rarely happened to me before, and it was fantastic. Shortly after the completion of the pool and spa, I engaged Elite on another large scale project on the property. Just like the pool and spa, it was also done perfectly and perfectly on time and on budget. Elite (and in particularly, Mitch, David's son) continues to service our property and I suspect we'll build something great again in the future. I can't recommend the Elite team highly enough. If you want to do something great, they are your team.”

“We hired Daley's Lawn and Landscape to create a pad for a outdoor kitchen. When they arrived they were very courteous and professional. Chris the owner came to look at the site and told us what have to be done and gave us a estimate on the job. 2 days later they arrived with the equipment to level the land off and started the project. The project was finished in three days, we were completely satisfy and we would give them a 10++. We also have them coming back to do a fire pit in the backyard once the stone work comes in. We would definitely recommend them for any yard work or landscapes.”
