“I have absolutely loved working with Amber. We decided to use a garden designer as we don't know enough about plants, what they like and where they should go, and also how to put them together. The process of working with Amber has been amazing - she's talked us through our likes and dislikes, come back with some initial ideas, which between us we've solidified into a final design. She guided us with mood boards, plant ideas, garden structure and has looked at every element of the design, including lighting. The drawings are so through and professional and she's given us copies which show how the plants will look in flower, evergreen and separate drawings for the structures, plus suggestions on materials, lights and everything! I had no understanding of how involved the process would be but Amber's knowledge, professionalism and enthusiasm has made working with her an absolute pleasure. I can't recommend her highly enough and can't wait to see our garden come to life! :)”

“We have dealt with Sam and his business for nearly two years. From concept to install to maintenance, Plantology have been nothing but outstanding. They have transformed our garden. The maintenance package offered is well worth the costs, investing in your garden when time is precious makes sense. The end results are phenomenal. Sam is a great communicator, always announcing his committed appointments to ensure all is ok. Genuine nice people at Plantology couldn’t recommend them highly enough.”

“I had a fairly large border (approx 8m x 5m) which had been neglected for a few years. I wanted to create a low maintenance flower bed and liked the idea of a country garden look. Ben and Paul came round and assessed what was there in terms of position (light/shade), soil and the shrubs which were worth retaining. We also discussed budget. I then received a planting plan with a quotation and commissioned the work. The bed was cleared and planted mid June and I am delighted with the result. I now have a bed which will flower more or less from May to September and will require increasingly less maintenance as it matures. FGD are extremely knowledgeable and gave me advice on other areas of my garden (not areas which will result in work for them). I do have another two areas which do need a makeover and I will certainly commission them to undertake the project.”

“Very pleased with the job Zane and his team did, it's high quality and very sturdy. They came in to sort out a poor job done by a previous company. As soon as we met Zane we had confidence that he could help us. The work done has given us a great base from which we will now be able to make our garden into something really lovely. Once we are ready to do that we will be contacting Golden Gardens again.”

“Ben and Joe constructed a large raised timber deck for me, linking my conservatory to my garden, which was sloped and had a number of levels. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, highly professional whilst very personable. The job was completed to an extremely high standard, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them and their work to anyone in the future.”

“We are completely delighted with our evening patio area. Having enjoyed it for just a year now the shrubs in the raised beds have filled out the space and have started to provide some welcome colour for their second season. The barbecue and wooden furniture are recently uncovered ready for the first party of the year this weekend. Looking back at photographs of the work being done at the beginning of 2018 it is hard to remember not having this space in our garden. The design enhanced our own ideas and workmanship both on and around the site was extremely high quality and professional. We can totally recommend Urban Gardener. Its been a great experience all the way through.”

“We required a full garden make over to include a family friendly lawn space, summer house, garden shed, hard paved areas, garden lighting and flowerbeds that would provide texture and colour throughout the year. WE also stipulated that it had to be low maintenance! Luckily, we employed Nikki Scott who exceeded our expectations both in terms of what could be achieved on our budget but also from the level of service and attention to detail. From initial survey Nikki was able to provide some incredible mood boards and full colour designs/plans with detailed specs of plants, timber buildings, lighting and paving as well as a number of estimates for all materials. Nikki also helped us to plant out the vast array of plants, trees and shrubs she sourced and delivered at very competitive prices. The project was completed under budget and we now have an amazing garden space which is truly impressive. “I would highly recommend Liz Miles Garden Design. After recently levelling and landscaping our garden, we wanted advice on what plants to fill a large sleeper bed with to give all year round colour. I have no experience in gardening so didn’t know where to start. Liz made us a beautiful plan and we are so happy with how it looks and are enjoying it everyday!”
