“Jay did an incredible job in my yard. I have a lot of space and for a few years kept "trying" out a bunch of different plants. He asked me what I liked and didn't like. He came in looked at the space , measured and gave me his vision of the space and told me the plants he was recommending. I honestly feel he has a gift. I have been interested in gardening for years and know plants fairly well but Jay's vision was so much more than I ever imagined. He thought of colors, movement , space and seasons. Something no other garden designer has ever done ! The yard turned out beautifully ! I am excitedly awaiting the spring show of movement ,design , color and beauty. I have 2 more small areas I want him to do ... areas I have not liked since I moved in here and did them 6yrs ago. CAN"T WAIT to see what he will do !”

In addition to design, groundworks studio worked with me to select contractors and to supervise installation. It has been a perfect relationship with beautiful design work, collaboration, professionalism and great attention to detail. goundworks was very willing to work with me on an overall plan which was implemented in phases. I have been particularly delighted with the use of native plants. The use of a rain garden in my back yard has completely solved all of my drainage problems while adding a beautiful element to my landscape. The project began with a new driveway and courtyard including hardscape and plantings that provided the "bones" of my new garden. We then came back to landscape my front yard and a side yard. This was a large project over a long time frame, and the quality and professionalism has never wavered. It has been an absolute joy to work with groundworks and I recommend them without reservation.”

“Christian installed a waterfall and other rock formations on our pool several years ago (approximately 5-6 years ago). We had no issues with meeting deadlines, going over budget, etc. The product can be pricey, but he tells you what your are getting and what it costs without surprises. We have been very impressed. The structural aspect has held up excellent without any issues of cracking, leaking water, etc. Absolutely NO PROBLEMS. Christian does a great job of making the rocks and arranging them in a natural appearing way and they look even better as vegetation grows around them. There is some fading of the color (which is expected and we were forewarned). This is the only reason that I did not put 5 stars. It is not a mark against him or his service, but the product in general over perhaps natural stone (which, natural stone may have it's own issues!!!). We have had them re-stained once. There were a few areas that have drip marks... unfortunately it may have rained shortly after stain application and therefore there is some unnatural appearance to the drips. Again, not desirable, but I don't think he expected it to rain.... don't think the drips were sloppy work based on our experience with him previously. He takes pride in his work. I would encourage people to go see the product in person... better than photos. Overall, very satisfied and would use this company again if there was a need.”
