“The Ream Design team was outstanding in all aspects of the project. They took the time to understand our tastes and needs, and created detailed site plans They listened to our feedback and worked to create plans that we felt comfortable with, guiding us along the way in a constructive manner. We we signed the dotted line they brought in a large crew with the necessary tools. The plants they furnished were top notch. They took care to plant carefully, clean up every day, and to not damage any of the surroundings. If there was a problem they took case of it. No problem was too small. They then guided us during the critical first year when the landscape developed. They took obvious pride in their work and we ended up with a top notch landscape that gets better every year. We were completely satisfied with their work.”

“We served as a contractor to build Angie Verge's landscape design. Angie is extremely organized and efficient. She provided a full bid package with clear CAD drawings to build off of, all to scale with complete dimensions and notes. She was open to discussion, collaboration, and changes while still maintaining leadership of the process and executing effective decision-making throughout. This is the combination we look for in a designer. She provided us with valuable constructive feedback after the project. The experience of working with Angie was great from start to finish, and the project was a success. She is a creative, knowledgeable and competent designer with a strong sense of New England landscapes, and she is a highly professional project manager. “Rutland Nurseries completed 2 projects for us, 2 walkways and an enclosed patio with a rounded sitting wall (Unilock®). There were many positives to having work done by the crew from Rutland Nurseries, among them are: Andy was the designer and supervisor of both projects. He was very easy to work with and patient throughout the planning process. He made suggestions but did not force his opinions on us. He was present almost daily throughout the projects. In addition, the workers arrived on time each morning and came daily until the project was completed. They were respectful of our property and the neighbor’s yard as well. At the end of each day their materials and tools were stored. The workers were personable and had Rutland Nurseries logos on their shirts. We are extremely happy with the work that was completed and would highly recommend Rutland Nurseries if you are thinking of walkways or patios!”

“Ralph provided initial input for our back yard design, which really helped transform our space. He helped us visualize a unique layout to encompass our naturally-shape, in-ground pool and provided valuable input on it's installation. When time came for patio installation, his team was professional, efficient and courteous. What was going to be an 800 sq.ft. patio, became an almost 1,100 sq.ft. patio through the installation process and the team made adjustments to accommodate the additional without issue! A real Team, dedicated to doing great work and giving customers a quality, finished product. The result was amazing and we could not be more pleased. His experience and knowledge went a long way to helping create such a unique space. Thanks again Ralph!”

“Jonathan designed a landscaping plan for our backyard, which had serious grading issues. The plan included regrading and the creation of terraces, the construction of several stone walls, and the planting of shrubs, trees, and some grass. Jonathan is a true believer in creating landscaped spaces which are sensitive to the surrounding environment, using native plants and local (or near-local) stone. He is also a passionate gardener. Jonathan is an absolutely amazing landscape architect! He considered our site carefully and well, and was always great to work with, stopping by daily to check on the work. From the start, he listened to our wants and needs, and gave us several options whenever possible. He subcontracted the construction of our stone walls to a company which did gorgeous work using Goshen stone (a 40-ft curved sitting wall, a patio, and a four-terrace garden). It has been a couple of years since the job was completed, and every single time we have a visitor, the yard receives compliments. Jonathan takes the long view, and so you must have patience and trust that as plantings grow, his vision will reveal itself over time; it will.”
