“I hired David Simpson to redesign our small London garden from scratch - both hard and soft landscaping. We discussed the kind of use we wanted to get from the garden and the style which we wanted with David. He then submitted designs which showed a very inventive and thoughtful use of the space. David then project managed the hard landscaping of the garden. He recommended the builder and negotiated a reasonable price. We were thrilled with the job the builder Stephen Robinson carried out. Everything was completed promptly and to budget to a very high standard. David then designed a planting schemeto complement the new garden design. He clearly has a very strong feel for shape and colour and he left us with a beautifully designed and executed patio garden, with sympathetic planting, and ideally suited to our needs. I would recommend him without reservation.”

“We knew our garden needed a revamp, and we wanted it to be “grown-up” but still welcoming, but had few preconceived ideas. Not being gardeners ourselves, we didn’t have any plant knowledge but knew the styles we did and didn’t like. Peter, through relaxed discussion and an exchange of images, of gardens and plants, somehow managed to gauge the sort of thing we were hoping for. We were genuinely excited by Peter’s design when we saw it on paper and it was a pleasure to see the reality appearing gradually as the work progressed.
