“Melissa MacDonald is a very talented and professional Landscape Architect. My husband and I are both architects and we had been trying to design the landscape for our home in the heart of historic Lexington MA. for a year. When we asked Melissa to help us, she promptly delivered a design that was sensitive to the traditional setting of Lexington's historic district and satisfied our spatial requests. The hard-scape is elegant and we have been enjoying the sequence of blooming plants since May. I am thrilled with Melissa's design and with her service. “Rob and his team were at my home over the course of two seasons, installing an incredible landscape in both the front and back of my property. It's not often you can say it was a pleasure having a work crew at your house, but my boys, my dog and I all enjoyed having Gilmore Landscape Architecture on site. They are intelligent, kind, respectful, creative and talented individuals. The exterior of my home was completely transformed; Rob's expertise in terrain and site planning was fundamental to creating a stunning final result. He made sense of a plot that was uneven and mostly covered in cracked pavement. It now instead features a kitchen garden, native trees and plantings, a reflecting pond, meditation rock garden, as well as a driveable grass paver driveway and beautiful gabion rock walls with wood bench toppers. --Allison TC”

“Dave and his team were excellent. In our initial meeting, Dave was respectful and knowledgable, really listening to what we wanted. His detailed quote hit all the various options we asked for and included sample photos. Once the build started, his team was fast, clean, and courteous. We live on a busy street with many involved neighbors and everyone commented to me after how professional the team was. Along the way we made slight changes to the project which Dave was flexible to accomodate. The final product was better than we imagined and we're already talking future projects. Highly recommend!!”

“David Bartsch and I have worked on numerous projects together on Nantucket Island, he as the Landscape Architect and my company Nicholas Ferrantella Landscaping performing the landscape installations and maintenance. Founded in 1980, we have worked with many architects in the 33 years and David Bartsch is our favorite. His design of a small park on Nantucket Island for Nantucket’s Land Bank is brilliant and "Fair in the Main" has become a favorite place for people to stop and enjoy the peaceful garden and granite fountain.
