“We appointed Pehrsson Scott to carry out the design and the construction of our town garden in Hertfordshire. We found Henry and the team to be very responsive and engaging at all times. They listened to our brief and involved us in the design process ensuring we understood every detail and were happy with the design before signing off each stage. They gave us a clear understanding of the costs from the outset and were always approachable and pleasant to deal with once the work began. As soon as we met Zane we had confidence that he could help us. The work done has given us a great base from which we will now be able to make our garden into something really lovely. “I worked with Jane in 2015 to redesign my patio. We had a very tired odd shaped deck and our house is quite wide so it was quite a challenge. Jane took into account all our ideas and was very respectful of them. I particularly liked the fact that after the first draft we fired back lots of thoughts and they were all taken into account. Jane also found us an excellent landscaper to build the patio as well as an electrician. Throughout the build Jane was on hand to answer any questions that I had, covering all the little tweaks and changes that we made. We are so happy with our new garden and have loved showing it off to friends and family, Jane was great to work with.”

“We asked Chiltern Garden Design to prepare and implement a planting plan to bring our walled garden to life. They have done a brilliant job, bringing together a range of unusual plants, trees and shrubs to ensure it looks great all year round with relatively little maintenance. Sam has also been a font of knowledge and help with a range of other areas such as dealing with honey fungus, managing some invasive weeds in the lawn and putting up a living roof on our garden shed. I could not recommend her more highly.”

“The design and work was carried out in a professional and efficient manner in all aspects of the project, we had our kitchen done in January and the garden in February, our challenge was "The kitchen looks excellent, lets hope you can do they same with the garden, so no pressure", they succeeded! There was a lot of groundwork to be done, many trees to be removed, ground to be levelled, water feature etc, and we think the final result of the project in photographs shows the finished article, just some sun required now to thoroughly enjoy the results. The installation guys were hit with rain, snow, sun basically all that the English climate could through at them and they just carried on regardless. Thanks!”

They were an absolute pleasure to work with, highly professional whilst very personable. “Our narrow townhouse garden - we're in a Victorian terrace - has to work pretty hard. We wanted a beautiful garden - naturalistic, relaxing - but also one that our three children could enjoy; and somewhere we could work, in the garden studio. Angus's design is fantastically clever, easy to live with and we absolutely love it. We get so much pleasure from our garden on a daily basis - and it's transformed the view from the house. Responsive and creative, we highly recommend ATD. If we ever moved house - and garden - we'd use them again without hesitation.”
