CCASA Architects was working with a client in a four-storey terraced house in North London. While developing the project, the client decided to appoint Jenny to work on the design of the big rear garden and new landscape proposal. Jenny was very hands on, and we were in constant discussions so we could marry both the architecture and the landscape design. Communication and execution were great, having a frictionless collaboration. Jenny brought their own landscape team which worked very well along the already appointed main contractor. The landscape proposal looks amazing and its very well integrated with the architecture. We would be very happy to collaborate with Jenny from Jenny Bloom Garden Design on any future project and surely we will recommend her services to any client looking for a landscape designer!

Jenny and her team worked on our project alongside the building contractors and a kitchen building team, with cheerful patience and professionalism. She took on board my ideas for parts of the garden and made them work, incorporating my favourite plants and shrubs into the new planting scheme. Jenny is a good listener and was happy to tweak her plans to give us just what we wanted. Her design linking the garden with our new kitchen extension has a real wow factor, whilst being sympathetic to the our plans for the original Victorian house. Jenny’s design has transformed the way we use the garden, which now has a generous eating area, a tranquil water feature and several comfortable seating areas. I’ve always spent a lot of time in the garden, but now the rest of the family enjoy it too! Jenny also created a gravel garden and a wildflower meadow around our old shed which has made a previously scruffy area quite charming. The plants and hedging she supplied are all healthy specimens, and she continues to visit and advise me how best to maintain them.

We are so delighted with the beautiful garden that Jenny designed for us. She listened so well to our requests and has designed a garden that has everything we wanted. She was also able to come up with wonderful suggestions and solutions when we weren't sure what we wanted and we couldn't be happier with our new garden. Jenny's design has transformed our garden. We're enjoying the variety of beautiful plants and flowers that now fill it thanks to her clever eye for design. I can thoroughly recommend Jenny. I had a lot of ideas (some contradictory) for my garden in terms of the hard landscaping and some general likes (and dislikes) in terms of plants. Jenny listened and somehow came up with a design that surpassed my ideas while being in harmony with them. It was lovely to discover gorgeous plants that I never knew about as well as finally getting ones I’d always wanted. It was also great that Jenny was flexible in making the few adjustments desired. And in sourcing and monitoring a really first class landscape company. It’s also well worth taking her up on a follow up service to ensure the garden continues to flourish. Finally, having your garden designed and landscaped in London is a big financial undertaking, but Jenny’s share of that cost was very much value for money.

We hired Jenny after seeing her website which really appealed to us. Jenny is very professional and fully involved us in developing a brief and producing a design from it. Our working relationship was always positive. We used her recommended landscape gardeners who were great. Jenny worked closely with us and the gardeners throughout overseeing the development of the project. Jenny is a very creative garden designer and has designed a lovely garden for us, and it was quite a complicated project. The result has met our expectations and beyond. We love our new garden. Jenny undertook a complete redesign and rebuild of the garden to our grade II listed Georgian townhouse and transformed it from a non-descript patch of grass and shrubs to a stunning addition to our home. We wanted something that would be sympathetic to our house, usable on a day to day basis and easy to maintain and Jenny has produced something that has exceeded our expectations.

We recently undertook a full renovation project of our house in Islington, including a basement dig and a redesign of the garden. The garden was a very important part of the project and we decided that a garden designer would be the best way to maximise the potential of the space. We enlisted Jenny's help early in the project, which allowed Jenny to visit the garden in its previous state and discuss with us what we were looking for in the new space. When we first met Jenny she asked lots of questions about what we wanted and took time to assess the space. Jenny then presented us with a couple of different design options; after picking the design we wanted to go for, Jenny drew up a detailed specification for our builder to work from and oversaw the final build. In the meantime, she drew up a detailed planting plan and came herself to plant up the garden once the landscaping was all finished. We are delighted with the final result and are so pleased we picked Jenny to design our garden. Jenny is the ultimate professional: efficient, communicative, collaborative and talented. At every step of the project we knew that we could depend on Jenny, and more than that, she actively took the initiative to make sure that everything was on track. She worked brilliantly with our builders to ensure that her design was built beautifully, and dealt with some small hitches along the way with ease and professionalism. We can't recommend Jenny highly enough.

Jenny provided an excellent service and has transformed our garden from a rather depressing place that we never used to a marvellous haven that all the family now uses a lot. She inherited an architectural feature in the garden that it was too expensive and difficult to change but worked very constructively around that. She listened carefully to our brief on "low maintenance but unconstrained" and has chosen really wonderful free flowing plants.
