Tatyana completed her first degree in mathematics. She seeks to understand the underlying geometric principles of the space she is working with. Fascinated by the Golden Ratio relationship, she has explored how this divine proportion affects garden space and discovered that people feel joy when they enter a garden laid out in accordance with these proportion. Guided by the qualities of Water, Earth, Air and Light Tatyana strives to follow the harmony of nature in her work.
Performances of flowers coming into bloom at different times, for different durations and with different intensity throughout the year, for her are associated with a musical symphony. Tatyana intends to study the principles of music composition to see how she can apply them in her planting design.
Tatyana qualified with Garden Design Diploma from Inchbald School of Design in London. She has contributed to various projects at Bradley-Hole Schoenaich Landscape Architecture Practice in Richmond, UK.
Tatyana lives in North London and works on projects in the UK and internationally.

The design challenge was to redesign a mature lengthy garden on an old Georgian Terrace, taking into account the large trees and shaded areas and challenges of Central London.
We found Tatyana from Lace Landscape highly effective. At an initial design meeting, she rapidly assimilated the key points and explored ideas. The plans delivered very rapidly following that meeting demonstrated a high degree of creativity. She had also listened well. She found ways to develop our initial vision in ways that we would never have thought of, but that made it so much better.
She took good account of our budget requirements. Sourced plants that were good sized and healthy and also found ways where possible to re position and reuse existing mature plants where appropriate, whilst being clear about ones that needed to go.
She returned to guide the planting team and realize the vision.
We are delighted by the result and are excited to see our garden develop over the coming years.

We didn't know where to start with planning our large corner plot of a garden that backs onto a small river, after asking around we were introduced to Tanya from Lace Landscapes. At our first meeting she took the time to get to know us and our home, how we lived and how we wanted to use our garden, from there on I was very confident that Tanya would deliver. In her detailed plans she was able to summarise our requirements and ideas into one coherent scheme where everything works perfectly together, she added a real design feel, structure and thoughtful features that we would never have thought of but that truly transform our garden. Not only did she maximise the value of the space, she gave us beautiful 'framed views' from every angle and a stunning garden, Tanya is a pleasure to work with, she is a very personable, professional and talented designer, I would highly recommend her - let her do her magic!

Design and planting advice- Project will happen slowly over next few years
Tatyana does not just provide a regular planting and design advice but adds a personal and artistic touch to her ideas that really make her work go above and beyond the ordinary. She is very professional, and listens to all your ideas then incorporates them with her own ideas adding her own knowledge and flair. She is an excellent communicator and will take time to thoroughly discuss ideas and is also a happy and enjoyable presence so you really feel as a client that she is easy to have around whilst she is working and that you are going to get the best possible garden design. She provides a clear breakdown of costs and very helpful designs on paper as well as 3D designs on the computer that help you visualise what the garden will eventually look like. I could not rate Lace Landscapes highly enough.
