“Hill House is a 16th century former farm house, the main part of which had been converted into modern living accommodation some time ago but which had an adjoining single storey outbuilding/small barn, used for storage, with the western aspect facing onto the Lyth Valley. The brief to Tim Chetham was to develop plans which would see the conversion of this outbuilding into a 2-storey development consisting of a living room and en-suite bedroom, ensuring that the new blended seamlessly with the old, and importantly, maximising the views onto the spectacular Lyth Valley. In scoping the project, Tim engaged well with us and gained a thorough understanding of our requirements. He translated our ideas, some of which were modified by his suggestions, into drawings which, when the final build was completed, exceeded our expectations by, internally, opening up the flow through the ground floor rooms, and upstairs an en-suite bedroom making effective use of the space and, importantly for us, maximising the views from both rooms. Tim met all agreed tasks on schedule and was within his quotation. We would certainly use his services again if required and would have no hesitation in recommending him to others - which we have already done!”

“Always there to give an helping hand and advice This project is a large bungalow extension and without the advice and help from Lee at LMC Architecture it would be difficult. This required careful planning not only with the design, but he helped immensely with the planning department, to which I’m very grateful. The design he put forward was just amazing. I found also with his experience and knowledge of local suppliers was a great benefit. The help he showed was extremely professional, a pleasure to work with. “Alex got recommended to us, We was planning on a large double garage build with annex above and summer room. Alex came up with a fantastic design to that incorporated everything we needed. Double garage with Annex above. En-suite up stairs, down stairs WC and 7x7m summer room. Alex helped not only with the design, but the planning application and the structural calcs needed. As we wanted to maximise the view we have at the rear of the build a lot of steel was needed as we wanted a triangle gable end window. This was not an everyday build due to this and needed to be done correctly, having Alex arrange everything made this a very smooth process when it could easily of been a nightmare. We highly recommend Alex and his team of people. Peter”

“Arranged for CAS to produce plans & submit planning application for an extension to our house prior to marketing the property for sale. We received timely and appropriate advice on the planning process and the layout & plans of prosposed extension. Very pleased with the design and the step by step pricing and invoicing for the work. Realistic guidelines given about the expectations of local planners. Kept up to date with other professionals involved in the planning application and how the application was progressing. Would recommend to other home owners requiring a similar service”
