“I met David Katz when I was interviewing landscape architects for a pool and spa I wanted to build on a property I'd recently acquired in the Hudson Valley. I'm a business person myself and very careful when choosing who I work with. Accordingly, I interviewed 5 different architects before choosing to go with Elite. Everyone I met with was talented, but David Katz was on a different level. Whereas others would walk the property and talk about what they thought, after I'd walked the property with David and we had talked, he started drawing. Within 15 minutes, I had a full rendition of what was clearly right for the property. If there were one theme to my relationship with Elite, it would be this--execution. The other architects talked vaguely of being able to get the pool done in 15 months or so. I told David I wanted to be swimming in thee months. He said I was crazy. I asked him if he could get it done. He said yes. Three months later, on the 4th of July weekend, my family was swimming. That's what's truly special about David and the Elite team--they can get the job done, on time, and on budget. Moreover, while I was forced to manage my house contractors daily, I didn't have to even think about Elite. They transformed our property in exactly the right way, and I didn't have to manage a thing. That has rarely happened to me before, and it was fantastic. Shortly after the completion of the pool and spa, I engaged Elite on another large scale project on the property. Just like the pool and spa, it was also done perfectly and perfectly on time and on budget. Elite (and in particularly, Mitch, David's son) continues to service our property and I suspect we'll build something great again in the future. I can't recommend the Elite team highly enough. If you want to do something great, they are your team.”

“I was really kind of shocked to notice (while browsing Houzz for another purpose) that Galati Pools had no reviews yet. Everyone with an in-ground vinyl pool in my area uses them, and has nothing but good things to say about them. That has been my experience too: I bought a house with a pool they had installed several years before, and have now owned the house and pool for another 12 years. In that time, the Galati team has been a great resource for maintaining my pool (including major projects like the liner replacement that this type of pool eventually requires). They've been consistently timely, helpful, and efficient. For a while when they were not offering weekly cleaning services (and I was feeling too lazy to vacuum the pool myself) I hired another company to handle vacuuming and chemicals. In the hands of that other pool service, my pool was often murky or green. After I fired that service and went to Galati for guidance, they got the pool back on track and provided me with simple, painless instructions for maintaining the pool myself. My pool has been crystal clear ever since. Now that they do offer regular cleaning service during the season, I've had them come out every other week to vacuum to save me that small task. They've done just as reliable a job at that as they do at everything else. They've been opening and closing the pool each year, handling water analysis, replacing any parts that wear out... Pretty much everything the pool needs. Never once have I had a complaint. They do a great job.”
