“I have had the pleasure of working with Northbay Stoneworks since 1998, when I purchased my company Spacial Design. They are my "go to" stone guys for all of my kitchen and bath projects! Greg and Marc are extremely knowledgeable and their staff are professionals, looking at every detail of the fabrication and installation of each job. They installed my kitchen counters over 10 years ago...using 7 guys to carry my 4' x 10' island...not an easy task! I HIGHLY recommend them for any project large or small...they are the best!”

Ampelio and his team were on time, on budget, courteous, clean, and even offered design ideas we hadn’t considered. If you’re reading this review and wondering whether they are worth it I can tell you we’ve already hired them 2 times and we will definitely be scheduling them to do a couple more installation jobs at our house. “Beautiful tiles - I used McIntyre Arts & Crafts series for the field tiles of our bathroom floor. These are quality, fully vitrified tiles ... strong with a lasting finish.. McIntyre's Arts and Crafts tiles fit the feel of our 1917 home. The subtle variation in texture makes a visually interesting floor. We needed specialized bull-nose tiles: Bullnose along the hypotenuse of a 6x6 tile ... McIntyre delivered perfectly. The bullnose tiles match the field tiles perfectly, in color, texture, and size. Outstanding! Our local tile shop, Art Tile of Oakland, has a tight rapport with McIntyre; they keep a hundred samples indexed by style, color, and gloss. “Jonathan does great tile work and on top of that he is reliable, and fun to work with. . He has a really wonderful design sense. (Well, what am I saying here: His aesthetic is like mine! I guess I mean that I really like his sense of design...) . So far he just did some kitchen backsplash tile work for me, but I am considering having him re do all the ugly tile floors in the future.”
