“We have had Martin install our kitchen granite counter tops and each of our three bathroom countertops - one of Quartz, one of marble and one of granite. He does excellent work. He and Paula are extremely easy to work with. If they don't have the stone you want they will happily meet you at a competitors' stone yard and install that stone for you. We did our kitchen in 2012 and our bathrooms in 2014. Their prices are reasonable.”

“the show room had so many tile designs to choose from. the staff was very helpful in helping me find exactly what i wanted. within one week i had my kitchen and two bathrroms done and ready to use. these guys know exactly what they are doing!!! job well done!”

“Juan and his team are amazing, the hidden gem you hear about! His honesty, integrity and fair pricing will blow you away as it is so rare in his business. We had a very intricate project consisting of a very large kitchen, 7 slabs of quartz and many waterfalls. Emily provided a comprehensive detailed design of the cabinetry from the concept and ideas we discussed with her at our initial meeting. We had no question what the outcome was going to be before the project commenced and Juan was able to tweak small things along the way. We knew he was the one to undertake a project of this scale and we were not disappointed. EVERYONE who walks into our home (from professional designers to friends) asks for the name of our designer and guess what, it was Juan, Emily and the team! His guys always arrived on time, had good communication and were very professional. If we ever had any questions or issues Juan was always available to immediately discuss with us. His advice and knowledge go above and beyond and his work is pure artistry and the best we have ever seen!!! Now Juan is working on our cigar lounge, can't wait to see his magic!”

“AKDO has brilliant stone, tiles, designs, borders and mosaics. We have the privilege of being able to peer inside some of the most luxurious custom homes in Illinois and many of our clients have AKDO materials and designs in their home. After meeting Kate Donofree, the talented art director and designer of the particular stone pattern we were interested in, it is very apparent that she knows her stone, even down to what part of the quarry it was cut from. That's a designer with passion.”
