“I discovered Polly's unique upholstery through a local network, but I'd happily travel across London to use her services. The attention to detail on the ready made pieces I've bought is amazing - Polly takes unloved old pieces and transforms them into highly individual items of furniture. I love the subtle differences between the pair of chairs I bought, and the detail in the embroidery that sets them apart from other upholstered pieces. I've also commissioned some bespoke work from Polly, using her fabric searching service. I'm not sure what I was expecting from this beforehand as it was the first time I've used a service like this, but chatting with Polly about the chairs and looking at some ideas in the studio was incredibly helpful. Polly helped me to develop and distill my thoughts and preferences to gain a clear picture of what I wanted, and sourced a number of fabric samples that fitted the bill. Another discussion on the pros and cons of the choices available meant I was absolutely sure of my choice and delighted with the result. I will definitely use Polly's bespoke service again.”

“I am absolutely delighted with the total professionalism of TS Design Studio. We have had in our family an old Captains chair that is over one hundred years old and which was badly in need of some help. All the legs had become unglued, the leather seat insert had long ago worn out and the general appearance was very tired. TS Design Studio gave us an honest opinion on the best way to restore our chair. Not wanting to opt for a modern foam and staple job, the chair was lovingly restored using similar methods and materials as those used by the original craftsman over one hundred years ago, the result was stunning and we are so thrilled with the finished work. TS Design Studio have a wealth of knowledge and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Tomasz: Thank you so much for all the passion you have shown during this restoration and for your understanding on just how much this chair meant to us as a family. “I finished a chair today! Yeh. I’ve studied upholstery on and off for about five years. This is the very best course that I’ve been on. I had fun, I have learned loads, I completed a rocking chair which two other classes couldn’t/wouldn’t help me with, thanks to Clare and Nicola who are very hands on and never leave you waiting as the classes are quite small. 5 stars and highly recommended.”

“I had an idea for seating in our kitchen, but Simon Holding Upholstery brought it to life. I must say I didn’t expect it to be as brilliant as it is. To start, they created the frame for our banquette seating, which was made with precision – exactly to fit in the space. It wasn’t long before the entire banquette was upholstered and it was ready to install and fitted beautifully by Mike. So much care was taken from start to finish, overseen by Simon, with his eye for perfection and flair. I can’t recommend Simon Holding Upholstery enough. They were friendly, creative and produced our seating beyond expectations.”
