Hi there, I can't recommend anyone specific in Leeds (not my area!), but in the first instance, you can seek out a local independent bathroom/bedroom studio and ask them to come and quote you. More often than not, their design and quoting service is free, though if you start asking for lots of changes/versions, they may well ask for a modest fee - often this will be credited against any subsequent purchase you make. While I wouldn't recommend taking unfair advantage (I've had my share of "customers" like that!), if you explain what you are looking to do, the constraints on your budget and show willing to consider them for any subsequent purchase, I'm sure they'll be happy to help. And while of course I am biased, I strongly believe the small independents tend to be better value and more willing to tailor a project to your needs. We are also unlikely to want all your cash up front and leave you in the lurch if things go wrong! Plug for small independents now over.... ;-) Wrt your mother-in-law specifically, I wanted to draw your attention to the fact that many items specifically designed to ease a disability as well as changes to bathrooms which are required because of that disability are normally eligible for reduced VAT rates - either 5% or 0% VAT depending on certain factors. It is normally easy to claim and only requires a short form and signature by your mother-in-lay confirming the need. DEFINITELY worth asking about this and following up - saving 20% on your costs is not to be sneezed at! Regarding ideas to consider - think plenty of space in the rooms, a wetroom or open shower, grab rails & folding shower seats, sit-on top basins on wall mounted worktops that a wheelchair could be wheeled under - of course it depends on the particular disabilities, but a good designer will be able to help. In recent times we've installed special hydraulic "lift out" baths, infra-red heaters to keep elderly customers warm when exiting showers; we're just about to start installing a kitchen for a sight-impaired gentleman with good contrast between cupboards, worktops & floors, easy to see/grab cupboard doors, easy access storage solutions - there are so many options! How about adding small color details, such as gorgeous luxury cushions or bed spread? It doesn't have to be big or expensive to add a touch of color. The rest of the bedroom can be grey or cream, and a small color cushion can make a huge impact then :)

Hi Sunny, I'm guessing the layout is like this then? Which is why you wanted a 900mm wide shower. I'd actually go with the 900 x 1200 as it's longer and will suit the room better, plus, if the layout is like this, then you have the room for it. Here's a link to all those in that size from Victorian Plumbing, so depends what your style is. Victorian Plumbing. They sell loads, so i'm sure you'll be able to find one that will suit. One thing to watch out for is the size of the basin and toilet. You will be better off with a short projection toilet and don't come out too far with the basin either as the space to exit out of the bath will be lessened. Regards to flooring, tiles etc, that's personal choice. What style do you like, what colours do you like, and most importantly what is your budget for the project?

Very pretty house that just needs some more planting. I would remove that strip of grass and plant some flowers there instead leaving your access path in place. My front garden faces NE but the plants do really well. Things like Aubretia, Sedum, Hardy Geraniums and Erigeron thrive there. The 2 roses are also doing well. I love Hibiscus and have 2 in my back garden. Here is Erigeron, Geranium and Aubretia. All very easy to grow.
