Comments (8)Hi Verity, Thank you for sending over your email - I've replied to that as well for you. It's great to see some photographs of your room, it looks like you are going to have an incredible space! Night Jewels 4 is a beautiful colour and is also part of our new Amazing Space Paint collection. We currently have an offer giving new customers 3 free testers, so you can order this, along with 2 others of your choice, and see how they fit in your new room. Just create a new account to receive your free testers: https://paint.duluxamazingspace.co.uk/customise/colour/cool-neutrals/pure/e1Y9p9We0F Due to Night Jewels 4 being a neutral, pure based grey colour, it means it’s very versatile in terms of which whites it will sit nicely with. I would suggest Timeless, or even White Mist for this. White Mist has a less yellow undertone when compared to Timeless, however this colour unfortunately does not come ready mixed in our Endurance+ finish. This would mean it would have to be made up at a DIY store or at one of our Decorator centres. You can find your nearest decorator centre, or DIY store which has a paint mixing lab, by entering your postcode into the below: https://www.dulux.co.uk/en/storefinder With regards to the placement of Night Jewels 4, the wall where you plan to position a sofa would be perfect. Going for slightly darker grey tones such as this, will then provide a fantastic backdrop for a statement mirror or a piece of artwork, which will really zone your seating area. I agree that the door wall would be a great place for the grey to continue over, and you could even flow this along the wall which will house the kitchen units too. Although this may seem like a large amount of grey, your beautiful large ceilings and remaining walls will be in your chosen off-white colour, which will retain a light and airy feel. I think that you are right to keep the walls which have windows as the off-white, as it will allow the lovely grey frames to stand out. I hope that this helps and I’d love to see your room when it’s finish, so please send some photos! Comments (3)Hello appydaysdevon, With artificial lighting I would suggest going with some warm tones. Also dense and chalky is my preference. Little Greene is often a suggestion with a range of many lovely colours including a grey palette, but I would stay with blue considering the carpet.... Team with something like Whitening which is a lovely chalky warm white. Should you decide to take a look at that one. I have used Dulux in the classics range.. Here Bone China might have been a nice choice if you want to stick with D for above the panelling.. Given you have a mid to dark blue carpet which will be fitted... It would be a nice idea to continue on this theme. Go a shade darker or keep to the same shade re the carpet. I'm intrigued by what is above the false ceiling... :))...See Morewhich colour need help

Comments (31)I'm so sorry, but I've only just seen your posts and all your hard work with the mock ups!!! I didn't get notified. Thank you so much this is so helpful!!! Seeing the Photoshop mocks ups makes us realise we don't want to go two tone on the edge cabinets and like the lighter grey. Unfortunately the job hood needs to stay as we can't get it out. We would love to have a modern one added, it's just not doable without taking all the units out. We have painted the window wall which looks fab (well we think so!), picture below. We're considering ammonite or cornforth on the outside cabinets (posts included) and downpipe on the island. We're not 100% convinced the downpipe will work? What do you think? Is there any possibility anyone could use their amazing skills to demonstrate these colours please? outside cupboards ammonite and island downpipe outside cupboards and island ammonite and if anyone can really be bothered the same as above but with cornforth instead of ammonite! Thank you for your time!...See MoreCreative Visual Concepts, Kevin Strader
