Need help with my kitchen
Comments (10)Old thread but I've been searching for the same answer... fast forward a couple of months and a few trials and I've found Johnstone's Olive It PPG1032-3 is a near perfect match. Currently repainting my oak kitchen doors & end panels with it to match new Heritage/tiverton Sage pelmets and cornices. Hopefully that helps someone....See MoreNeed help for my kitchen extension.
Comments (7)My 4.2 x 8m flat roof (fibre glass) extension with 3 rooflights and Alu bi-folds and side window & k rendered - plus electrics & plumbing/fitting of a downstairs bathroom & utility plus remodelling inside walls and replastering existing room and new room all came in at around £41k No floorings No heating panels if we want infra red vs using our old rads) No furniture ie no kitchen or bathroom Unpainted (prefer to do myself!) We are cutting down the utility to remove an external door cost, might skip the side kitchen window as will be light enough and taking out one roof light as two should be plenty as south facing. Could save by not having bifolds of course or going for white doors/windows instead of black/grey but some things I’m not willing to compromise on. Spent months looking at smaller options to reduce the size but came across more issues so stuck with the original. Firstly as suggested, a size would help and so would a floor plan as there might be ways of remodelling your internal layout so a smaller extension could work. I actually redesigned my friends house on an app and reconfigured their back room to extend out only by 2m but it gave them a much better space than they have already....See MoreI need help choosing a wallpaper for my 60's kitchen
Comments (11)Hi Caro, I have attached two images of wall paper that I think you compliment your kitchen. The green and blues in these wallpapers would harmonise with the existing titles and highlight the height of the room. From your ideas book it seems you like repeat patterns, both of these styles suggest a 60s feel whilst remaining contemporary. As you can see in the second photograph, the pattern and colours sit very well with the dark shiny worktop, similar to the one you mention putting in at a later date. The first wallpaper is affordable and ethically sourced. Let me know what you think...See MoreNeed help for a splashback for my new kitchen
Comments (5)Hi Irina! That's a really lovely kitchen, I think perhaps using a natural material with variation will be an excellent finishing touch...have a look at our New York Brick tiles, we keep these in stock in West London can send a sample if you think these could work http://www.stoneandceramicwarehouse.co.uk/wall-tiles/floors/item/new-york-bricks...See MoreGemma Smith
