tongue and groove path panel

Is this a panel you can buy as a whole piece in a shop or has it been made especially for your fitting? I need to replace mine to match the rest of the tongue and groove in my bathroom. While seeking one online I seem to be reading many reviews of panels sold in shops that customers say warp from water or fit badly. can you recommend anywhere?

Hello - these panels are sold in large sheets. They're moisture resistance MDF 'Butt & Bead' boards and come primed. I believe these were purchased at Ridgeons building merchants. Hope that helps! - Kim @ CT

I think t&g would work as you often see in attics however I'm guessing that's not the style you want. If you want georgian style panelling I think you need to follow the shape of the wall for panels, I've attached (a badly drawn) picture but hopefully you get the gist.

I’m assuming the panel strip you’re fitting to the floor will be tapered to account for the floor slope? I think that would highlight the slope more than if you just cut the T&G at an angle on the bottom. I would avoid gluing wood around a bathtub, mechanical fixings would be better and easier to open up the side of anything does go wrong. You could also have a hidden openable panel at the end of the bath. Why not do a frame and fit a T&G style panel rather than individual planks?
