Teal & Grey Colour Scheme For Lounge Help Needed
Comments (30)Just did an on-line search for "grey and teal and living room", and this thread came up. Love your ideas, and the advice you received. How did your room turn out? Can you post some pics? (I'd like to do something similar in our new rear extension which is approaching the fun decoration time)....See MoreHelp...what colour scheme for my new kitchen?
Comments (7)Hi Lucy. The kitchen looks quite a grey blue on my screen. I would go for a copper kettle and toaster. Also brighten the worktop by adding potted herbs and some wooden boards. I would then look at shades of orange, coral, terracotta or blush for either chairs or cushions for the chairs. I think an orangey tan leather would also work as would a copper chair. I might go for a sisal rug to add some texture and lighten the floor a little, you can get ones with both honey and grey tones in or instead add pattern (depending on chair choice). I'd also add a large potted plant in the corner by the bay and utility. Art with blues in and a touch of an orangey colour too....See MoreWhat colour scheme do I go ford?
Comments (14)Hi, The colours you like can work together well. Have you thought about whether you would like a feature wall or wallpaper. Do you have any sofas which may dictate the colours you can use and is there a certain style you prefer. Here are a few images which combine grey, teal and mustard/yellow colours. Good luck...See Morewhat colour will go with these brown tiles for my bathroom cabinets?!
Comments (13)My twopenneth..... I usually love a good painting update but here I'm definitely with the don't paint Houzzers above. I think the devil is in the detail with this one and you've got the bones of a nice spa feel bathroom space here. Agree you should change the toilet seat to white and consider painting the window frame white too. You could always think about covering the floor with a tile effect vinyl (black and white) for an update there. Complement this with some black and white artwork. The brown tiles will help warm the monochrome look and then like others say its largely about those finishing touches. Some inspiration pics below. The last one is far too cluttered for my taste but gives some idea of how you might tackle some storage, dressing of the room and flooring idea. Good luck...See MoreБахтинов Николай архитектор-дизайнер
