I prefer fresh, vibrant coloured accessories in house design to enhance a neutral background. I'm a purple freak, love orange and often wear reds and fresh-greens (I love Desigual dresses!) I just feel that a strong colour changes the feel of any space, bringing depth and adding interest. My own living room would be dreadfully boring, if not for the rug and painting. Same with my bathroom without the orange or the kitchen without the red.

I'm also looking at white and yellow to go with two new light grey and darker grey sofas. I'm finding it really difficult to find the right yellow and white fabric for curtains. And what rug to put on an original parquet floor to go with the scheme? Decisions decisions!

I love my tree decorated in red white & silver I've collected over the years absolutely loads of very traditional ornaments, Even though we've updated our living room the tree will never change its a real talking point when family or friends visit the tree stand's at 8ft tall & I'm so Proud! of it.

I'm a huge fan of anything Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and Annie Sloan. Hague Blue, Downpipe and Plummett by F&B are wonderful!
