Small flat with awkward layout

I'd like to rejig the layout of this 30sqm flat. The purpose is to make the most efficient use of space while creating as spacious atmosphere as possible. I took a stab at it - effectively opening up walls as much as possible (replacing bedroom/reception wall with frosted glass partition that can be folded away); combining kitchen and dining area; and potentially using a foldaway wall-bed.

Your design thoughts would be more than appreciated!

nice try, but you'd need more space than that in the bathroom! also, if this is an apartment, you may find that moving water and soil pipes isn't as easy as you might hope! if you eat out mostly then a micro kitchen a bit like this might help ?

Something like this might feel more spacious - but keeps the proper sized bathroom - and minimises the plumbing changes needed for mini kitchen by tapping into the bathroom plumbing ! Still - best to speak with a contractor who could do a site visit to check what plumbing moves are possible !

Oh, I was just about to say that I love that idea but then I remembered an issue: there is the radiator where the TV would be and no plug sockets. I don't think it's an ideal place to put sockets either because of the radiator there and the fact there's a bathroom on the other side of the wall (so I'm guessing lots of water pipes). I am a big fan of the whole room being brought into the layout though - my own ideas seem to break it into 2, which I think under-appreciates a lot of the space. I've attached another design that I had but couldn't add to the original post, just for the sake of throwing more ideas out there, and to clarify the location of other rooms etc.

Decor Books That's a wonderful radiator cover. Where is it from? Others in this stream have said that radiator covers reduce the heat in a room but I've heard others say it doesn't - the issue is that it takes longer to heat up a room. On that basis, I'm tempted to cover a radiator in my sitting room as even if I paint it it's intrusive and I could really do with the shelf above it to add interest below pictures.

I love the living room, which is the biggest selling point along with the garden. It's been hard finding a private garden that isn't a lower ground flat. The bathroom is also okay I think. The kitchen without a freezer actually would have an effect on my lifestyle. If anything, I usually have more in my freezer than the fridge! The photo of the kitchen looks like it would be a full size freezer + fridge combo, but really it's a washer/dryer at the bottom and then a mini-fridge on top.

Thanks! An interesting alternative (particularly the kitchen). However I still would like to keep the sleeping area somewhat separated from reception (as a result I had the sliding/folding glass partition idea).

I did bring around couple of builders and the verdict is that it should be possible to move plumbing. And I do think that the bathroom takes up way too much space (relative to total area). For example a shower like the below could save quite a bit of space?
