Mosaic Tiles
Comments (9)I agree with plumbing solutions, within a shower area grout always gets dirty so if you use mosaics I think they would be better kept a small feature to keep down the cleaning. If you're using very expensive mosaics think of doing just a feature area such as a slim, vertical panel or the back of a niche. Make the tiles into a real focal point....See MoreMixing metro tiles with mosaic?
Comments (5)I don't think your mirror needs a border- just order bevel glass and get the glass company to install it for a beautiful finish. Alternatively hang a mirror with an ornate frame As far as building out into the room so that you can have cutouts by the sink and the shower..... It seems mad to make a small space smaller. I think you should stick to one metro tile. Tile the floor in wood effect tile as the length tricks your eye into thinking the room is wider. The mirror idea works and of course you don't have to have just one. Floating sinks and wc help you see more floor which can help. You can also add floor level lighting too. Lastly small spaces demand that you consider the storage- I would have a sink set into a vanity with drawers under....See MoreMosaic tiles on the floor... how to match the perfect tile!
Comments (3)If you can't change the tile, change the plumber ... but seriously, have you had a second opinion? Maybe another plumber would get the job done. Otherwise, what about doing the floor in mother of pearl as well? Do you have a photo of the wetroom in its current state?...See Moresmall mosaic ceramic tiles behind hob - bad idea?
Comments (7)And just for full disclosure I should probably add that a) I did not spend a furious 20mins cleaning these tiles before taking the pic and b) we do a lot of cooking including curries, sauces, jam making etc and other bubbly, splashy type stuff. Like Sonia says a quick wipe down is all it takes so if it's the mosaic style you want I would definitely go for it!! Along with grout sealant 😃...See Morelidia
