Garden design - Long, thin plot.
Comments (8)A long narrow garden is perfect to have a relaxing retreat at the bottom. Our patio louvre roof creates an outdoor living space in your garden perfect for relaxing in away from your home. The louvre roof is automated turning the louvres flat to create a fully watertight roof. It is perfect for all year use and great for keeping protecting your garden furniture ready for the summer. This free standing Umbris patio roof below, creates an undercover retreat in their garden. The vertical louvre panels also provide an element of privacy and weather protection from wind also helping to keep the new living space drier in heavy rainfalls, whilst still maintaining transparency to keep the outdoor living experience. Additional elements can be added such as, heating, lighting, audio system all built into the roof profile. We have just had an Umbris installed at our showroom in Amersham at Sky House Design Centre, you can arrange a showroom visit by contacting us on 01494 722 882....See MoreNeed help with patio and garden design please
Comments (14)Hi there, potentially a great project. You have a superb blank canvas from which to create a landscape. Freshscaped will be able to assist you,I am sure. Meanwhile,if you seek inspiration.....have a look on my website under Portfolio sections; Landscaping and Poolhouses. A recently completed job in Kent where we added woodland,a stream, wild meadow, an eco office, and a superb Marston & Langinger orangery type building. I would be more than happy to put forward some ideas that Freshscaped could develop, or indeed assist with any Interior Renovations you may be doing also. I am based in Surrey, and work in London & the home counties. Best of luck, and do drop me a line if I can be of any inspiration to you. www.bellawhiteleyinteriors.co.uk...See MoreGarden Design/Using a designer
Comments (5)I always agree a written brief with clients before embarking on the design process and where possible provide some examples of gardens you or like or similarly don’t like, to help the designer build up a picture of what you are seeking to achieve. It’s important to choose a designer whose style you associate with and admire in order to get a best fit from the design process. Good communication between all parties is key throughout the process so I’d encourage an open discussion and hopefully your designer can respond positively to your comments....See MoreNeed a Garden Designer and Landscape Gardener for a garden re-design
Comments (9)Hi Ellie, ok I will edit it more as it should read we want all the shrubs and trees removed which is a tall feat when your not qualified I would guess. Also with the council not available to remove garden waste, we already have a lot piling up with the compost awaiting the date for when we can remove it. Our garden already has fence all the way around, however it needs updating as it has broken it a lot of places....See MoreBillie G
