Need advice on our new house

Hello everyone, we recently bought our new house and both husband and I are thinking of hiring a laura ashley interior designer to give us some advice regarding decoration.
at the same time, I am uploading some pictures to seek advices here regarding paint color, flooring,etc.
what bedroom color would you use?
what kind of living room color would you use?
Thinking of changing downstairs living room and snug room to wooden floor, walnut color or dark color.
thinking of changing the current fireplace to a white stone fireplace frame.
Thinking of changing the current living room french door, to replace the whole wall with sliding french door.
Please help.
