I personally wonder why anyone ever had a wet room, they're so hideously impractical and should be reserved for people with bathing difficulties! A shower roon and utility combined is far better, keep it that way, Where would you put the washer / dryer? you can't keep it in a wet room it'll go rusty.

If they're separate rooms I think they can differ the same as any other room in the house as long as it's a cohesive look. You could always go for the same cabinets but different complementary colours. You may also want a different flooring for the utility if it's likely to get very dirty and wet. You might also consider a different and cheaper worktop for the utility if you don't need to consider stains or heat resistance for example. i think either or Is fine though :)

hi Anna, The position of the sink, washer and drier will determine the layout of the rest of the space as they require mains water and drainage. So I would speak to a plumber about where this can be accessed in the room in a practical manner. If the shower is to the left of this playroom, then that might be where the waste and mains water can go, and therefore you might be able to have joinery built-in along the bottom wall (adjoining the stairs) and then a full-height wardrobe on the other side along the 2.8m Wall.
