Looking for club chair / sofa maker in UK

Hi all, So we live in Switzerland. Home of the modern and rather overpriced. Therefore I am looking for a good club / wing chair maker and sofa maker to ship from the UK to here. Not interested in IKEA and willing to spend more on proper frames, good fabric, loose back with foam core / down wrapped seats and pillows etc. Normally I'd use my Highpoint, NC furniture makers but that is a rather expensive proposition. Does anyone have any suggestions? Design style is more traditional, clean lines, and comfortable. These are 'forever' pieces hence looking for top quality furniture makers. Also looking for beds / mattresses as well!! Thanks :)

@Nekul I have to be honest, the answer to my dilemma was: I stopped shopping haha I genuinely have bought very little since making this post, simply because I couldn't find what I'm after. The most likely places for me to spot the odd piece I like are Sweetpea & Willow (not exactly affordable), Swoon and Rockett St George. I occasionally buy from Maisons Du Monde or La Redoute but both don't offer value for money (or a great shopping experience - items lost in transit or arriving damaged). I did stumble across J N Rusticus, though, which - if that's your style - I can highly recommend. My all-time favourite is still the US based CB2 which do ship internationally but not all items and only if you spend a minimum of $5000....

The Luxury of made to measure bespoke furniture is you get to choose exactly what you would like your sofa be from fabric, colour, type of cushion filling to the exact dimensions you require. I also think the other advantage is you can also custom the sofa to fit the space in which it sits to maximise space. I would in my experience say that if you prepared to pay a certain amount for a sofa that there isn't that much in the overall cost but find that you may actually get a bit more for your money for instance a lovely feather foam wrapped cushion against a hallow fibre dacron seat cushion, sprung seat section instead of webbing that kind of thing. If you find a style why not ask for a comparison cost you maybe pleasantly surprised. My only real advise would be to make a full list of specifications for your upholsterer to work to such as how soft you would like the seat so he has some clear guidelines.

Hello Nathan, This looks made to measure to me - I would ask a decent joiner to make one for you. It would need to be custom made as you will want to direct the size, height, material to suit your individual needs. Hope this helps and good luck - plenty of good joiners on Houzz I expect. Nicky

Aww thank you darling, yes its getting there now :), I was gonna say the same thing as Gabby, TKMaxx has some lovely ones in stock now. You can shop online if you do not have a store near. I love these orange ones and they have same in these colours but reversed. I'm very happy with my sofa from Love your home for less company, they can accommodate different custom size requirements, too. The only thing is, the sofa needs to be seen in person - I went to their showroom intent on buying one sofa, and ended up buying a very different one (which did not look that great in the catalog).
